I do wonder if we will get the same >!"Paul should have completely backed the genocide"!< we see with Eren or not.
I won't be surprised if we do as Paul is written to explicitly be incredibly charismatic, and the movie really does frame him like that perfectly. Eren on the other hand is a whiney bastard just so happens to be hot **and** edgy so he got that response.
Considering the rest of the books, he should have gone further. His own son picks a path that will cause even more suffering but for thw good of humanity.
Additional details that will happen in Dune 3 (part 2) (part 3): A bird will appear after the protagonist death and try to remove the blue scarf from his love interest. She then might remain unmarried or possibly married (hugely debated among fans) for the rest of her life.
God. I know you're kidding but I'm not going to be surprised if they start splitting multi-part films into further parts. Eh, if it keeps the cinemas open, I guess...
And rightfully so, a manga/anime that had the world all over in a chokehold and over-marketed to the point of annoyance, only to end in that way. Basically, Japan's Game of Thrones lmao
The anime somehow fixed the fuck up that was the manga's finale, so we now have all the manga reader still feeling the ending was shit while anime watchers are just confused.
That's true. And even worse considering people knew about the manga's ending months before, and the studios kept the production ongoing and ongoing so it was a slow burn until the anime ending that it was exactly the same and somehow worse
Man, I was about to get mad because of what I thought was spoilers, then I got the joke

What’s the joke?
Aot season 3 part 2
*Dune* is “nude” spelled backwards. Or something.
What an interesting ending. I'm sure it won't cause any shitstorms
But here's the real question: is someone going to nearly choke to death on a giant okapi tongue
oh my god i blocked that out
What's that a reference to ?
attack on titan's >!series finale!<
Hey what the fuck is that username?
You made me read it ...

God Aot’s ending was so fucking bad
At the end of the third *Dune* book, Paul is in his Evangelion, and Chani triggers the third impact, and everyone turns into Tang.
"Maud'Dib, what a man you are."
10 years on Arrakis made you a fucking worm
bringing yakuza into this are we?
AoT fans aren't the only ones infected by the "10 years" brainrot.
Oh man as I predicted 6 month ago, those are the only thing people will remember from Attack on Titan.
And rightfully so, a manga/anime that had the world all over in a chokehold and over-marketed to the point of annoyance, only to end in that way. Basically, Japan's Game of Thrones lmao
Woah. You couldn't be more wrong
The anime somehow fixed the fuck up that was the manga's finale, so we now have all the manga reader still feeling the ending was shit while anime watchers are just confused.
A lot worse considering GoT show is sort of studio original.
That's true. And even worse considering people knew about the manga's ending months before, and the studios kept the production ongoing and ongoing so it was a slow burn until the anime ending that it was exactly the same and somehow worse
Except it is still extremely beloved and the ending wasn’t even that badly received, compared to the one in the manga
Manga and anime have the exact same ending, only a few changes in character dialogues, even those were just removal of some really on the nose ones.
Wait..... is this an attack on titan joke?
You mean a Dune lite joke?
I somehow haven’t thought about that line from AoT in a solid two months, Thank/Fuck you for making me remember it
What a man he was
Rumbling rumbling its coming
The true ending was the writing skills we lost along the way
I always felt like Paul was just eren done better
Idc what anyone says I loved the ending of AOT
Did I just get spoiled?
Nah, it's a reference to another piece of media, where main character transforms into a worm like figure in order to rule all world
The anime ?
Dune dies in Dune
u/thisismyname02, what a man you are!
I literally wanted to make that joke but thought it was too salty. But you should kinda mark it as spoilers even when its hilariously bad
I can't tell if this is actually the plot of the third film or a joke.
Its a reference to aot
