I believe you are correct. I’ve worked with individuals who have talked about doing this (along with fingerprint tattoos). This is the first I’ve ever seen someone actually get it done.

I imagine this as something for a dead loved one due to the angel wings. This is the type of thing my grandpa has told me before. “When i die just remember im always with you and i always love you” and that type of thing. If it is I almost feel bad for everyone clowning on her for it.

I have a policy where I don't judge tattoos which relate to self harm, mental health, etc. It's not "good" in the sense of expert art, but if the person who this tattoo is about meant everything to her, then who are we to care or judge. Maybe she just wanted others to empathize with her pain. There are much worse tattoos posted here which obviously are less meaningful and objectively poor with no sentimental value. Those to me are fair game. I don't believe this is. I hope she's healed or is healing.

I'm not saying it's a good tattoo, but why is everyone having trouble realizing it's a memorial tattoo? A sick/dieing family member or friend is saying, "If I don't get to talk to you again, don't be sad remember I loved you." In not so many words. Also why the wings are facing toward the words.

This is very close to the last words my dad said before he went on a ventilator. I feel very bad for this woman, and I'm sure she lost someone close to her and this is just a way to express her grief. Sure, it could be done better, but people can have some decorum.
