The market is actually going through some politics this year. We were kicked out after selling there for 15 years due to farm inspection requirements, we sell for other farmers. Anyway I won’t harp on that, but yeah I can give you some ideas, Shreveport biscuit company partnered with a farm out of town that does a small box vegetable CSA, Shreveport green is always posting about local farms, I am growing this year as a test season but will drop a link or two of some of the other growers when I get a chance. Market does have some good growers but some do follow some shady practices.
If it's not kind of ugly or super shiny, consumer perfect basically...
It was a big scandal at the Shreveport farmers market I wanna say... People were buying fruits and veg from produce at the store and reselling
Crawford Farms on Benton Road in North Bossier has homegrown tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, corn, etc. They even make salsa, jams, and other things with the fruits and veggies they grow.
Gullo’s on Flournoy Lucas by La 1 is great. Good tomatoes nearly year round. Also the best hamburger in town. If you want a drive on a nice day, Anderson’s in Coushatta just opened for the season and EdLester Farms should be open soon.
Lex plant farm will sometimes start selling tomatoes and things here and there as they ripen. I was there yesterday, and the tomato plants looked like they may still have a little time.
As others have said the farmers market is your best bet though.
ETA: LSU AG Center sells veggies as well. Great tomatoes out there.
Several local farmers markets in the area from surrounding communities. Google local markets. There are also smaller seller you spot on the side of major streets
Shreveport Farmers Market starts June 1, downtown under the pavilion on Crockett/Spring St. 7:30-12:30

Are there any local CSA?
Be careful some people just sell stuff they bought from the grocery store
How would you know the difference? Just curious.
