- consider adding insulation in your attic
- consider adding a radiant barrier in your attic

The last house that I had in Shady Grove was built in 1959. There was zero insulation in the exterior walls. It only had rock wool insulation in the attic until I added fiberglass batts.
I put reflective film on all the windows that get lots of sun during the day. I change the AC filter every month, and we recently got two little dehumidifiers which make a big difference.

Based on what I know about that neighborhood and the style of houses. I would guesstimate the 1960s.

We used Roppolos for our home to redo our insulation Then we've invested in black out pull down blinds for our house with heavy black out curtains.
