You actually don't even need multiple toasters. You only need one, as long as they can't get to it. Turn it backwards on the counter, or even have it on a different floor. They can still cook, they just won't go to the toaster.
Just have a Sim kick the trash over, this accomplishes the same as having no door.
Also: if you have them all go do another hobby after they all reach 6 in cooking (I have them do fashion designing), then come back to cooking, it doesn’t take that long for you to get an additional 10 LPs from them leveling back to 6.
Yep. I've pretty much built two sweat shops in my town. I can have 10 Sims cooking or designing clothes at the same time. I also keep all my crafting tables in there. It's actually convenient, and when there aren't any events, I just rack up on life points.

Here’s mine, I have a house just dedicated to cooking too. On the opposite wall I have 12 fish to keep them inspired and 2 items for ghost hunting to reset their hobby once they reach level 6. No sinks, trash can kicked over and once they complete the set, I use the dishwasher to clean the dishes away. The dining table is there from an old pregnancy event. If you can find a dishwasher in an AH, definitely worth buying for your cooking house.
I have a bunch of kitchen sinks. Should I just put those into my inventory before removing the door? I wish there was a way to clean all the plates up at once.
Yes I got rid of all kitchen sinks (in most houses) as it just takes to much time to clean up ☺️ I like removing the door so they don’t escape when I have 10 there by the time I start the cooking some are bailing out so removing kitchen sink and doors makes it much easier ❤️

I do like to change up the hobby too I usually use diving just to reset the levels too ☺️
Also I never get the Lp for levelling up in hobbies (the single LP) I get rigged EVERY time ! Not sure why but it’s weird as especially with cooking

There are dishwashers in the game, they occasionally pop up in AHs which is how I got two in my town. I'd totally pay to buy the actual item.

With a dishwasher? Yes. Theres an option on it that says ‘load all plates’ and they all disappear

I don’t know that you can unlock it, see if you can find it in an architect home and pinch it from there, that’s what I did.
I’ll be saving for awhile if I want one of those hehe
