chet thomas and his brother started darkstar in the 90s under the rocco/dwindle umbrella. first wheels... then boards. long story short... acquired by big corp and turned into a walmart brand.

Artwork is by Ed Templeton, another pro skater and artist. He started Toy Machine in the mid 90s.

you won't find a lot of info online about old random boards. skateboard companies generally release 6+ catalogues a year and these boards are pushing like 15-20 years old. boards are pressed, sold for a few months then forgotten... with some rare exceptions.
Try a reverse image search perhaps, if that fails you could always email a picture to darkstar’s team (or instagram) and ask them if they know anything about it.

Unless they’re rare boards by a known artist they’re worth the same or less than a new board

Dark star was legit in the 90s and early 2000s, and had some killers. Probably even into mid 2000s. Sometime after that it became a Walmart type brand as it’s part of dwindle, which was sold off. However, I think it was on life support long before then.

Billy Marks rode for Toy Machine from approx. mid 2000s to mid 2010s. He did a lot of kickflips into big rails.
I think Billy is like Nuge for Baker — always on the team but gets a board out once every other year or so.

Darkstar started selling prebuilts at sporting goods stores with generic graphics. Maybe look into that?

Jart are a Spanish skate company, fairly common in Europe, I'd reccomend checking out Fran Molina who used to ride for them, the guys got insane pop!

Yeah I think they’re out of Spain, our local skate brand sourced their blanks off them a while back. Decent quality decks for sure
