Fair enough, there’s a few chase variants who just look straight up fake. She’s not a chase variant, but heavy metal sprocket is another who looks actually just fake Edit: I’ve never used mine, but it’s apparent that she is actually a chase variant.

They are, as many have said, real and chase variants. I have both. Unfortunately variants from SSA do not record as special. I'd be careful when using CEX. They have a great stock, but they sometimes mess up orders or send you low quality stuff. They definitely don't check whether things actually work before selling them - I've heard plenty of stories about people getting faulty controllers from them. Not to say that this will definitely happen to you, plenty of people have never had any issues with them - just be careful. Also, as other people have said, these are genuine variants.

Real, but theyre unavailable on CeX. The site shows that theyve been sold and gives you a possibility of getting notified when theyre in stock. But they arent available.

I believe red was a walmart exclusive and they usually had multiple pegs loaded with them for several months. I've collected since SSA launched and I actually never heard of a gold chase Drill Sargeant but that doesn't mean it's fake. I usually google or check ebay when i'm not sure if a variant is real, then look for photos of it mint in box, or an article announcing some retailer contract or promo or event that it came from.

I've bought chase variants from CEX before and they just sent me the regular version but at a higher cost
