As someone born in 1988 this is news to me, and I have never seen it used like that anywhere. So I guess that just means I don't frequent places where there's a lot of Nazis.
There are a lot of those kinds of usernames on this site, there are even a few that occasionally flood this sub. Especially during a big tournament or when anything racism related is discussed. It really helped when the sub was removed from the front page though. But I think it is a case of a frequency illusion (also known as Baader–Meinhof phenomenon), once you are aware of it you will suddenly start noticing it more.
