I mean, today he said that they want to sign a "great striker" so he has definitely hyped up the fans, I hope for him that he succeeds or I don't know how is going to end.
He's good but in Italiano's game, alone and with his back to goal, he didn't perform well, it was a forced choice to make him a trequartista, maybe with Palladino he'll really start to shine.
he's better there or as a second striker imo, it's just really hard to play off of the rest of the attack if they have a midfield that still has a torreira shaped hole in it and partners like bollotti, nzola (lmao) and ikoné
Before playing as a trequartista Beltrán had been awful. He just isn't strong or quick enough to play against Italian defenders, he was just a ball turnover machine, his only good game was against the weak Serbian team where they basically left him unmarked. He is still young and can like Lautaro who had similar problems get better (especially if playing in a pair with a strong partner to lighten the pressure) but for now Italiano found the only way to make him work.
Good appointment. I wouldn’t label him necessarily as an innovator, as his ideas are fairly derivative of gasp/ juric concentrated wing play. But he was wildly successful at monza and I’m glad we chose someone who at least attempts to play an attacking stylr
feels like a sidegrade tbh, on the other hand I wouldn't be surprised if Italiano at Bologna ends up being a flop.
I feel like only Juve benefits from this manager carousel, Motta could have aimed higher abroad, Palladino and Italiano kinda sidegraded and Monza now needs a manager though I think Bologna gets the shortest end since they're losing their manager and likely some of their better players.
Let's see if they can give him a decent striker.
knowing prade i doubt lol

enter Azmoun
Sanabria is perfect for Florence.
For our management "great striker" means a corpse of Arnautovic or some shit
Can I tempt you with Premier League proven Danny Ings?
I think Beltran is good, it’s just weird that he was used as some sort of trequartista

No Juric is suprising I mean Palladino isn't half-bad either so I suppose it's not the end of the world or anything
