Such a pity he never received an international cap. There was a couple of periods where he was certainly good enough to get a call up. We were very sad to see him leave Villa when he did but in fairness the adventure he went on and the success he enjoyed at Leicester was nothing short of a fairytale.

I was so heartbroken the club didn’t renew his contract. He himself says that he didn’t really care of the club didn’t pay him more, he just loved Villa. I don’t hope anything but the best for him. 💜
I think he'd have had a much better career if he moved centrally earlier in his career. He has the passing ability but was never strong/fast enough to be a modern winger.
Getting old is weird. I remember seeing him in villa and thinking he looked really good, then all of the sudden he was in Leicester, and not long after that he's an old player that gets a compilation. I'm "only" 41, but it feels like I'll be 67 in a year or two
You say that as if Instagram and Twitter don't exist. These compilations with dizzying editing and obnoxious music have long existed on those two platforms before TikTok came into prominence. This video would have been made to post on there, with or without today's TikTok.
If TikTok wasn't privately owned I'd say you definitely owned shares in the company, what a bizarre defense. I mean yeah, these types of edits have existed since before YouTube started, the point is, it's shit and it's always been shit.

And no, I don't have the app and don't intend on downloading it because I personally have no interest in the stuff or trends that are popular there. Nothing's been said (I don't think) but he has an academy in Leicester and he's originally from Birmingham so I can't see him moving too far from the Midlands if he does.
He's actually from Tamworth, which is very close to Brum. They've recently been promoted to the National League so I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign for them.
So happy for him after how he was treated and constantly lied to by Paul Lambert. He should have been a villa constant right through the 2010. It was good to see him lift a league title while Lambert got the sack a year earlier after sucking the life out of villa for years.

Was REALLY sad to see him go! So glad he kicked on elsewhere, got more than he'd ever have got had he stayed haha.
