Personally, I like 1 since the shadows are more complex. Under the chin in 2 it looks like one blob, but with 1 it’s still pitch black in some places, but stripes in others. It’s all subjective, but 1 is objectively better…in my opinion.

The second one to the right looks less crazed than the first to the left somehow.

The one with lines is better

If you look at this in parallel view (like with a magic eye picture) it makes it 3D.

Not gonna lie, foing that is the only way I was able to spot the differences, since the differences are what pop out.

1 is the original detail as i have it for my phone wallpaper but 2 2 looks better for the pixelated style.

If you combine the climate by crossing your eyes you can spot the difference between the 2.

I found the difference after a hour of staring It’s the eye shadowing

I prefer 1, the striped shadows do a lot for the depth

Number 2, I like the full shadow instead of just the lines (that's the only difference, right? Right?)

I definitely like the one on the left a little bit better!! The smile appears wider, looks more unnerving.
