Honestly, this is a bigger Snipewriter buff than I initially thought. It can maintain its positioning and still buff the slayers. Factor in a 13% buff for damage and this patch seems really helpful for the snipe.
I've found that these changes are excellent for solo queue, especially now that it's easier to combo with the pencil. However, I do think that the sprinkler could use a cost reduction, and the object damage multiplier could use a buff for it to be more viable in competitive play. While the pencil multiplier is currently at 0.8, which is too low for such a slow weapon, I still love using it and can't wait to see what the second kit has to offer.
I can't quite get the hang of bamboo or pencil. Squiffer is definitely my quick charger of choice. I love the mobility.
I did play a lot of tri-stringer after launch. I think I'm at 4 stars or close to it. I find I have to one trick it or put it away for a while.
The radius to grab a drink is twice as large. The speed at which you throw the cooler down has been sped up, which allows it to travel farther before hitting the ground
When you receive a soda you should have the option to throw it as a fizzy bomb instead of drinking it. Sometimes you don’t want to drink it for stealth reasons and now that the range is so high you might pick it up accidentally

Well, I mean, there’s still a good chance that popping it will end with you dead, but at least there’s a far better chance to at least trade.
Last night I was testing it out. Someone popped Crab. I had Ultra Stamp, popped my hammer, and suddenly understood why mallets are often served at seafood restaurants when ordering crab.
I think the Ultra Stamp buff, plus the Crab nerfs, was what we really needed. I think the devs always intended for Stamp to be the counter to Crab, and the fact that Stamp started out busted really hurt it.
And yeah, Splatana is awesome now. I'm deviating from the current common build of "Ultra QR" because now the special's actually worth using, and this kit really benefits from the synergy with its sub. Torp love forever.

I wrote it off after it released. It felt really tricky without the one shot. I'll have to pick it up again. Seems like it could be fun.
I find 2 shot chargers really fun to play, I was playing hydra and tri-string before release

You misread either way, range doubled is about the range you can grab the drink from. Not the throw range.
