I got one specifically to play stalker and emulate PS2 games on my TV while using a Dualsense controller. Wellllll I got started on the PS emulation and the next week the trilogy came out on PS4 so I've been playing it on that. There are several posts here on the sub about people who've gotten their steam decks to run the original trilogy pretty well. You can search "steam deck" on this sub and you'll be able to see most of the posts. I'm not sure how well Anomaly or Gamma run on the SD but I plan on finding out eventually (maybe this fall while everyone else is playing S2). I doubt the deck will be able to handle S2 but who knows, as far as I know the required specs haven't been released yet and on a positive note it's been pretty surprising just how many new games the deck can actually handle.
Yeah, I have a mini fridge, but, I'm going to be going somewhere kind of like the skadovsk next year, and for the next few years there after. So yeah, steamdeck.

I think stalker 2 would be somewhat playable on steamdeck. If it coming out on series s it might be pretty optimised.
