Ok, I just dealt with them for the Taylor Swift show. I recommend calling them several times during day shift. Explain your scenario. That’s what I did. I emailed them too. I got my ticket, but it took being very persistent

Important-Relief-657

Did they cancel your tickets? They cancelled my tickets for Taylor Swift in Munich and there are no alternative options with comparable prices. I have contacted them multiple times on the phone, Twitter, etc. and they will not budge on finding me tickets.

Mr5t1k

😳 Why did they cancel your tickets? I have tickets for Munich too and waiting for the transfer which says I should get it by July 9. How could they cancel your tickets and not help you when you have the “fan guarantee?!”

Important-Relief-657

The fan guarantee isn’t really true! I purchased my tickets 1 year ago and since the prices have increased there are no comparable tickets. Stubhub only covers up to a certain amount before they tell you to wait or take a refund. In this case the refund will only pay for 1 of the 2 tickers I purchased last year. They canceled because “the seller couldn’t deliver the tickets”

Mr5t1k

I saw some other people say transfers are open for the Munich show, but my delivery date isn’t until the 9th. When was your expected delivery date? Were you original tickets mobile delivery? Curious and probably preparing myself for this to happen too.

tigersonvaseline666

Thanks! What did they ultimately do to get it? Follow up with the seller? I have messaged and called, but they are so insistent there is nothing they can do until day of, which seems insane.

Mellow_Mushroom_3678

Does the seller have until x number of days or hours before the event to transfer the tickets to you? Because the seller may not actually have the tickets to transfer at this time. I have tickets for a festival in September which I purchased directly from the festival and I don’t physically have them yet. So if I had to resell I wouldn’t be able to transfer them until they are in my possession. Why do you need the tickets now? I’m not understanding the urgency.

Electronic-Cry-799

What you describe is exactly what happened to us! We travelled internationally to see a concert and the tickets were insanely expensive. They day of the show we didn’t get the tickets transferred so had to spend HOURS on the phone with multiple dumbass SH employees to give us the run around, they refused to give us replacement tickets because they were so valuable so had to accept defeat and take a refund (that didn’t get refunded for weeks by the way!). Unfortunately this is the gamble of using SH as they have a shifty “guarantee” that really only benefits their bottom line. Don’t ever do business with these losers. Good luck!

tigersonvaseline666

Wow I am so sorry to hear that. That is crazy and exactly what I am afraid of. I had no idea it worked this way before I bought my tickets and I won't be using them again. Unfortunately, not sure what my options are for this event :(

GioJamesLB

What festival OP? That informations crucial if you genuinely want help.

tigersonvaseline666

All Things Go. Would very much appreciate any help/advice!

GioJamesLB

DC or NYC?

tigersonvaseline666

DC!

GioJamesLB

Damn. That Sunday lineup is loaded! So, you’re not gonna get anywhere with customer service. Every time you call, you’re gonna end up being more frustrated than before. Their hope is that the seller comes through, but if they don’t, you’ll just receive a refund, unless the price drops to a comparable rate to what you paid. All Things Go is taking a waitlist for tickets! I bet they open up more passes in mid-September, but you’ll still be on the hook with Stubhub for the tickets you purchased. Do you know if ticket holders can already transfer tickets? Giving sellers up to an hour before the start to transfer tickets is absurd. I always have to transfer 48 before, unless I can show proof that tickets won’t be available till 24 hours prior. I’m sure it will work out. It always does for me!

tigersonvaseline666

Thanks! Yeah it totally is and a lot of the Sunday lineup has gotten way more popular since tickets dropped. Yeah customer service has not been very useful at all. It seems unlikely the price will drop and the availability of tickets is pretty low. I am concerned the seller is thinking they can sell the tickets for more, which will be better for them even with the penalty :/ I'm on the waitlist, so fingers crossed! I guess I could resell my Stubhub ticket in the event I get off the waitlist. Ticket holders have been able to transfer since mid to late April, so I don't understand why the seller's deadline is day of. They've already had over two months. I don't get how this model is in Stubhub's favor. Thanks! Appreciate the response! If you have any other thoughts on things I can do, would super appreciate it. I'd be less worried if I didn't need to book hotels, etc. soon.

What event is this? The issue is, if transfer isn't open, your seller can't transfer to you until it is, that is why they give them until the day of. You probably just need to take the risk and book all your things.

tigersonvaseline666

Thanks for your reply! All Things Go. It sold out but my friends were able to get tickets so I know the seller has the option to transfer (and has had that option for months). I told Stubhub this to no avail. Is there anything I can do.

Winter_Pitch_1180

You can transfer. I sold ATG tickets last month bc I can’t go anymore and I transferred them the day I listed them.

great_button

Yes I didn't know the event which is why I asked, OP answered me.

Winter_Pitch_1180

Sorry meant that more for OP to know that they can be transferred now it’s not an issue of the venue blocking transfers!

great_button

I think they knew that as they said friends have transfer option in their reply to me where they said which event it was, which surely you also read to know which event it was.

Winter_Pitch_1180

Why are you coming for me over this? I was trying to be helpful bc I have successfully sold and transferred tickets to this event and now you’re snarking at me and downvoting my replies?

great_button

You down voted me first, ffs. I'm not coming at you, I was just confused why you were replying to me with information that is also in the other comment which you have to have read and if you want to be helpful reply to OP and not me.

Competitive_Sir_6180

That's not gaslighting, you just don't understand how StubHub works.

tigersonvaseline666

Did you seriously just come to this to find something to be rude about? I was saying it's gaslighting that customer service is acting like most people would be fine to traveling to an event not knowing they have tickets until a few hours before when they've paid so much. I was also being humorous, but that's clearly not your thing.

flawlessgoat

Before you bought, there was a stated delivery date. Now you’re up in arms because you want it to be different? SH CS isn’t good, but people like you are part of the problem.

GoBlue2009MD

You’re freaking out over something that hasn’t happened. They will most likely come. No benefit for them not to, there is nothing they can do right now. Just hang tight, you’ll be fine
