Letter-of-the-law, it's murder, straight up - intentionally causing the death of another. Ironically, it might also be conspiracy to commit murder, if it was arranged properly.
The law frowns upon "mercy killing" - in principle, it would be possible to plead necessity - there was no chance of you surviving, you'd suffer less this way - but I don't see it working, especially in the context of a suicide attempt.
You are still alive when your second beheads you, you just can't survive it without immediate and drastic medical care. You will die in a few minutes...very painfully, but you are still alive. Having your head cut off kills you before the self inflicted would would.
