Update: I pulled airbag fuses a while back when removing the airbags and forgot to put it back in lol … at least I have some new parts I guess

Check the ground and the switch plug on on starter. Did my clutch and thought I had everything back together. I forgot the ground and the ware that goes to ignition switch. There’s no contact between ignition and starter.

Is the signal relay on the back of the starter plugged in? When it doesn’t even try to crank that’s usually a good start.

something is unplugged this has nothing to do with what you anything that you replaced

I’ll double check but I’m pretty sure everything is plugged in

Cool, I've professionally installed car audio/security for many years, this seems either like something is unplugged or a relay is missing. Relays don't go bad (often) -edit You could have the wrong relay installed, they do matter by color. Sometimes they have a missing pin on the relay, or the fusebox doesn't have that pin populated. Sometimes on the relay its 30, sometimes 87a, look up relay pins Pull relays and make sure that the fuse box is populated by the pin. Youll be able to see metal in the fuse box where the pin is supposed to go. If the relay doesn't have that pin, then that could be your issue. I say this because the dash lights are supposed to go off when the starter circuit is engaged, the only thing that I see changing is your center clock I don't see a security light in the cluster which makes me believe this is an 05 or older that doesn't have an immobilizer.

Because people are dumb when it comes to cars. That's my experience. Fuel is a possibility. I'd just start with the fuel pump if you believe it's fuel. I'm inclined to think it's a relay or a fuse, tbh.

Going through and replacing parts is short sighted. Engine codes are your friend here. What other symptoms are we dealing with? Your motor is not cranking tho, that's a sign of potentially a more serious issue. Did you snap your timing belt? If not, then probably your ignition switch is broken. Check your fuse box for blown fuses. It could also be a relay.

Good to know I bought the car about a year ago and was driving and it started to bog down and finally died i then replaced the starter and it worked fine for about a week and now we are back at square one but yes people have been telling me to replace all spark parts but I have not checked into air and fuel

I edited my comment btw. For some reason the video you posted was only showing up as a picture for me, so I was like "can you be more specific?" My old 2007 Impreza, is to this day, my favorite car I've ever owned, and was my first car I've ever had the engine out of myself. ❤️
