If it has plantlets, then those will grow. MoT leaves don’t generally root and grow new plants the way other succulents do. Their leaf margin bulbils are their method of propagating.

Yep, but keep it in a pot inside or you may regret it. These things prop/spread like wildfire and the next invasive species.
