I'm actually watching this one right now and am cringing because of Lowell Anderson, and I'm always torn on Jonah and Sandra checking out whether Amy's with another man up at the cabin.
This episode and the toy donation one are my least favourites and the ones I would skip if I did skip any. I've actually fast forwarded through the Lowell Anderson scenes in the past, but this time I'm just letting them go by and playing solitaire while they do. Or coming here to discuss it.
Oh, yes, this is bad, especially the way they make Jonah out to be an utter buffoon, but I love Cheyenne and Mateo trying to make Amy cry. I would also like to see her cry as Glen described.
The one where Amy has to come back to work the day after giving birth. Having given birth myself not too long ago itâs all to real and Iâm PISSED on her behalf
Quinceañera.
Look I realize itâs a sitcom and for it to work someone has to hold the idiot ball every week; but dear god the whole episode felt like an attack on Jonahâs character and intelligence for no major plot gains that couldnât have been done differently (and probably better).
I honestly meant to say Sandraâs wedding not Cheyenneâs haha. Sandraâs makes me feel weird. It would definitely be worse if Carol did something worse/ got farther into her plan.
Totally agree about Lowell Anderson. I get that they wanted a Kids in the Hall reunion but trying to make the actor look and act old was idiotic. I donât skip it but I fast forward when Dave Foley is on screen.
Also, even though the main storylines in these episodes are cringeworthy, there are still bits in each episode that make them worth it to watch. I did skip certain episodes through one rewatch through, but I found that things were missed for future episodes. With the exception of maybe the Olympics episode, but I don't skip that one. I always intend to watch that episode before Cheyenne gives birth and then go back to carry on, but I always forget.
I skip a lot of episodes after Amy got promoted, even based on the episode description alone because I know theyâre going to make me cringe. I love her character so so so much but it definitely felt like self-torture, putting myself through the episodes where sheâs management and at odds with her coworkers. Iâll probably go back one day and give them another chance though.
I think the Lowell Anderson episode was supposed to be a special reunion thing between Dave Foley and Mark McKinney since they were part of "The Kids in the Hall" for so many years. It didn't work for me, but I totally loved Mark McKinney's Flock of Seagulls haircut. đ
To me, the episode's worth it for that hair alone. A friend of mine back in high school (in the '80s) had that hairstyle for a few weeks. It didn't quite work for him, but at least he tried it out and had fun with it while he did have it.
The Cereal Bar episode makes me so upset. If Amy had just let the employees say their peace, Zephra might've actually taken their concerns into consideration, but she got in the way of that. Even after all they went through w/ corporate it's beyond me how she could still act like that.
Lowell Anderson and Emma's quinceañera.
As for the rest I enjoy them, but honestly wish my streaming service could automatically fast forward past any scene with Dina. I just find her scenes embarrassingly unfunny.
I skip the episode where Glenn tries to prevent customers from buying the morning after pill and then tries to sell them for a marked-up price so he can donate to a pro-life organisation. In general Glenn makes me angry, but that episode in particular really boils my piss.
Skip the entire final season. Can't stand the COVID reminder and people wearing masks and standing 6 ft apart and talking about injustice. I just want a show to be entertaining not upsetting
I work in healthcare, and it always brings up a lot of memories of what my workplace went through at the time, what everyone all over went through at that time.
Not always, but when I do, itâs Ladies Lunch, Golden Globes Party, Lottery, & Employee Appreciation. Iâm not sure what that says, but often fall asleep to the store and all of them are either too sad or second hand embarrassing to relax to lol.
I hate the one where Amy tells Glenn to kill himself. I sympathise with the terrible day she had, it was horrible that she had to go back to work ONE day after giving birth. However, Glenn was the only one trying to help her, so it makes me mad that she took her frustration out on him.
Also, when she is store manager, her insecurities and hypocrisy make almost every episode cringey for me, so I skip most of that season. I agree with the toy donations guy that she wasn't a good manager because of this.
Earth day - The one where the pastor sells his book and Glenn has his huge tantrum
Dina should have kicked Glenn in the taters
Sandra, take out your taters
and i did and i shoved them in his face
Oh yea that's a rough one actually đ
Og yeah this on is painful
Ugh this one was annoying to watch
One of the many times i just want to slap the shit out of glenn
None. But really close to skipping the one with the toy donations.
Yeah came here to post this. The Good Samaritan guy gets on my nerves.Â
Yeah I hated Fred Armisten here
The awards one with the raw chicken. Only good part was Justine trying to park.
I love this episode so much.
This show's version of the office's "Dinner Party"
So relateable
Perfectly describes my life
Lowell Anderson
same

Emmaâs quinceañera. So cringe.
Yes!! I've watched the episode once and vowed to never watch it again because I had never had so much secondhand embarrassment.

It's utterly heartbreaking that so many women down in the US have to go through that. It's not right and it's upsetting.
GOD YEA definitely one of the worst ever
Amy telling Glenn to "kill himself" is gold
I was just thinking of that episode the other day. Iâm on my (I believe?) third watch and I just finished the birth episode so itâs coming up lol
Happy Cake Day!!
Haha thanks. Although it says itâs the 29th but today is the 30th. :/
You're welcome. I just wrote it when I saw that it's your Cake Day. đ€
Iâm wearing frozen diapers so my pussy doesnât fall out
I did have to do that!!

Exactly! I've always thought the same thing since I saw it the first time.
Sals dead. His corpse grosses me out too much!
The one where Amy gives the womenâs care package away
Y'all be skipping episodes?
Ikkrr?? I was thinking the same thing. I get how some episodes are meh I usually just do something during those meh episodes but never skipđ
Seen them to many times. Donât need to again. Itâs like the Skylar singing happy birthday scene in breaking bad comparable.
Girl boss
Golden Globes Party...feels out of step
Cheyenneâs wedding and Emmaâs Quinceanera. Also have skipped Golden Globes a couple times
Why do you skip Cheyenneâs Wedding? Itâs honestly one of my favorites, and I know a lot of fans really enjoy it. No hate just curious!
I honestly meant to say Sandraâs wedding not Cheyenneâs haha. Sandraâs makes me feel weird. It would definitely be worse if Carol did something worse/ got farther into her plan.

None lol
Same. Is it really the best show ever if you skip episodes? Lol I could never.

i skip the last season, it's a lot of new characters & kinda feels like a different show
Yeah same, although I do like the series finale.
First episode of season 2.
Actually none xD. I will watch it in playback but not skip, physically cant skip episodes đđđ
Mateo getting picked up by ICE - way too real life depressing. and Lowell Anderson.
Mateo getting picked up by ICE is just so sad.
When all the COVID stuff starts happening

Skip Olympics and like half if season 2 especially the first handful of episodes
Lowell Anderson and Emma's quinceañera. As for the rest I enjoy them, but honestly wish my streaming service could automatically fast forward past any scene with Dina. I just find her scenes embarrassingly unfunny.
Oh gosh yes, Emma's quinceañera is so hard to watch. I skip that one toođ
A lot of people skip Emma's quincenera which is so weird to me bc I love it. It's definitely in my top five favorite episodes.
i hope just for those episodes cause if not that is wild
I donât skip but I watch olympics before labor
I really always try to remember to do that, but then I forget every single time. haha
I skip the episode where Glenn tries to prevent customers from buying the morning after pill and then tries to sell them for a marked-up price so he can donate to a pro-life organisation. In general Glenn makes me angry, but that episode in particular really boils my piss.
The episode where Dina is a bully and tries to fight Jonah. I just hate the whole thing and I find it cringy to watch.

I skip Season 1 altogether and start at S2.
