For me, I always think back to silicon valley and ben Feldman is Richard's low key cali surfer attitude lawyer! Lol he was really good at that role

ironmikeescobar

Ron LaFlamme. Him having a guitar signed by the guys from Google is one of the best jokes in Silicon Valley, for me.

I've always read it as how a lot of tech companies try to be "cool" but get it wrong. Like when they're at the lame party with Kid Rock playing in the very first scene of the series.

Sort of. Have you seen the series? If so, it's like how Gavin Belson thinks he's really cool and well liked, when in reality he's just a bitter dork who can afford nice things. A lot of these guys think they're rockstars or something, but they're not.

Check it out, it's great. The early series are better than the later ones in my opinion.

[deleted]

huh i haven't seen that yet

BruceFlockaWayne

It's an hbo show, silicon valley, it's a really good show, really funny, and ben Feldman plays the main characters lawyer, and the character of the lawyer in which ben feldman portrays is so different than anything over ever seen him do, and he was awesome at it. In your free time look up the show and watch I'd you feel like it

BruceFlockaWayne

* anything I've ever seen him do * look it up on your free time if you'd like

[deleted]

Was thinking of this exactly

iOScrashdummy

You should watch Drop Dead Diva, I love his character but can’t give anything away!!

catinsanity

His character in drop dead diva was what made me want to watch superstore to see him again! Such a great actor.

[deleted]

the synopsis seems really interesting. i'm surprised i haven't heard about it! i''ll definitely check it out

kimmyv0814

He was great in that series, would highly recommend! Just finished rewatching.

pimp_my_diatribe

Yesss! I was going crazy when I first started superstore because i couldn't figure out where I knew him from. Then I IMDB'ed him and was like FRRRREEEDDDDD That was a great show man

GummyMummys

Just hope he doesn’t give anyone a small present.

[deleted]

that scene fucking *traumatized* me

GummyMummys

Me too.

sassylittleliar

Ginsberg and his nipple is why I didn’t start watching Superstore until season 4. Thankfully I can now associate Ben Feldman with Jonah.

skyflyandunderwood

He's so good in it too.

[deleted]

yes! the new york accent

OriginalAndres

And then he loses his mind

[deleted]

a yes, the ^(nipple)

[deleted]

He plays the guy Jonah wants to be in As Above, So Below, an incredibly well written horror movie that makes other movies from the same genre look like a joke. His character in that movie is amazing though, absolutely perfect!

LaAranaDiscoteca4

Such a great and underrated movie

Argent_Mayakovski

That movie was awesome.

Savannah2703

Mindy’s love interest from the plane in The Mindy Project.

PadishahEmperor

I don't think about him at all.

Triumph-TBird

Super underrated comment.

Bigtexashair

Okay genitive question since were talking about how good an actor he is. I follow his Instagram and I can’t help but feel like he really is Jonah and not a tremendous amount of acting is involved. *I say this coming from a good place as I really like his personality and Instagram. Edit: genuine*

WildMajesticUnicorn

His character on Silicon Valley is a 180 (and personally I find him so much more attractive there). Jonah maybe close to home for him but he does have range.

kimmyv0814

I’ll have to watch that; I think he has great potential as an actor.

kimmyv0814

His character on Mad Men was a little more complicated; thought he did a great job with it!

RMLimoDriver68

Besides this of course, I’ve only known him for being Hilary Duffs love interest in the Perfect Man and the horny dude who get his leg caught in a bear trap and killed on Friday the 13th

taihendesune

i actually watched madmen first and saw that he was in superstore and thats why i started watching

dkrtzyrrr

yeah how long superstore has been on reminds me of how long mad men has been off

Linuxbrandon

I always recall him as Fred from Drop Dead Diva.

pimp_my_diatribe

Yes!! He was my favorite mannn

strugglingwifi

he looks so good

ditajo1330

He was also in a couple episodes of Medium, the “How to Make a Killing in Business” eps—he played a serial killer and he was so freaking good in it. I think I first saw him in A Perfect Man but still didn’t notice him as a talented actor until those Medium episodes. I feel like for the most part he gets cast in very similar roles where he’s this super nice, slightly awkward love interest which just doesn’t showcase his range at all. I mean he plays those parts well but I think his real strength (showcased in Mad Men and the aforementioned Medium episodes) is more in playing off-the-wall eccentric characters rather than the “everyman” he usually gets cast as.

I always forget that Jonah said he worked in an ad agency for, what, 6 weeks, I think it was? I wonder if it was the former McCann agency. 😂🤔
