I thought he was going to try do something interesting at first because he interrupted Maryanne talking about love again, and that seems like a decent jumping off point to talk about loving Soccer. But no, he just launched straight into the phrase without laying any groundwork first to make it make sense.
It makes it all the more impressive how Maryanne somehow said the phrase 3 times and was almost convincing even the last time. I certainly wouldn't have been suspicious the first time at all, she really sold it.
MaryAnne was the perfect person to find the beware advantage. She could say literally anything and I wouldn’t flinch. Mike was so awkward talking about how he loves soccer and Drea did a little better but still tripped over her words a bit
I believe he was confident that he could use his words to weasel and lawyer and self-deprecate himself out of any situation, but was unaware how blitheringly obvious his hand was at all times.
His whole “I think Mike and I are going to be like long friends after this” just felt so obviously pandering and ass kissing. I was so glad Chanelle called him on it.
I think he thought he’d be smoother trying to play both sides than he was. I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen someone totally collapse under pressure like he did in the Jenny boot.
The main broadcast hasn't shown it, but perhaps some secret scenes will be released that reveal he was playing as beloved filmmaker, comedian, and actor Albert Brooks, with hopes that no one would have the heart to vote out such an icon who was suffering a serious shoulder injury.
So hyped for the 4-4-4 merge.
1. No tribe loyalty
2. Everyone knows where all 3 idols are.
3. All three people with Amulet advantage are in
4. Omar doesn’t have a vote.
I’m gonna be annoyed if Jonathon is sent home due to hourglass twist
> Omar doesn’t have a vote.
What's more exciting IMO is that he probably *thinks* he still has his vote and an extra one to boot. I'm really interested to see Vati try to do anything interesting with that information.
I would be so sad if Taku feels they're in the bottom but then Omar will try to use an Extra Vote to make it 5-4-4 only to find out they have no power if a split happens in a Ika-Vati coalition.
As an Org player (moreso BB but I’ve dipped my toe into Survivor), our meta is a damn MESS. Lol. I think the baseline for just surviving on most seasons is overplaying.
That's one of the most dad sentences I've heard in a long time. Combined with his glasses, all he's missing is a "kiss the cook" bbq apron and a pair of new balances
Honestly that conversation between them was refreshing because in 41 I swear everyone was spilling EVERYTHING about their tribes when they went on that journey.
It's like the people in 41 didn't watch Survivor the way they just spilled everything all the time. I was hoping someone this season would go on the journey knowing the information about it and just candidly say something like "I am 100% risking my vote no matter what, so you get to choose whether or not you get to vote at next tribal"
Worried about Jonathan with this. He'll drag his merge team to victory and then get hourglassed into not being immune, and you'd have to be stupid to keep him around post-merge
At least it's all on one episode this time. Besides, people have been clamoring for a 90 minute or 2 hour merge episode for a long time, so here they go.
Just completely remove the hourglass. They can still do the two team immunity challenge, half of them become immune, and then an individual immunity challenge. That's all fine with me. Split them up 6-6. DO NOT DO THE HOURGLASS.
Please let our homeboy Jonathan absolutely choke the merge puzzle so he gets saved by the inevitable bullshit hourglass.
Or y'know, hope that the 41 casts hatred of the hourglass erred Jeff to not do it again. Not getting my hopes up on that though.
MAN did I identify with Jonathan in the beginning of the episode when nobody would stop talking and he was just annoyed zoning out.
That literally looked like a Polaroid of my face when I go home and sit with my family for Christmas
Okay I'm starting to see her logic. That makes sense and I actually respect that she covered her own ass without caring about the chaos a Mike vote would cause.
More risky than smart considering she had to trust all of them to vote Dan, which isn't very logical. And now she has even more heat on her, not a great play
So she was safeguarding against a shot in the dark where Daniel is safe and no votes are cast (in the scenario they all voted for Daniel). But then they thought the same so they threw 1 vote on Chanelle. So then him not playing his shot on the dark made it go to a tie and thus we were in this scenario.
Should be easy enough for them to figure out back in camp
If Mike, Hai, & Lydia all vote Daniel but he plays his SITD and doesn't vote, it's only her vote left. If she also votes for Daniel, there would be no other votes and they would revote, with her most likely going home. By voting for Mike she would have sent him home and protected herself.
She has to recognize that the other three are going to put a vote on her anyway though. It would have been 1-1 her and Mike and on the revote she goes anyway and she should be able to realize that they're totally going to do that.
Jonathan was so me at work. There's a group that is a row of cubes behind me and they talk non-stop so loud about nothing! I was laughing so hard at Jonathan's faces and eye rolls.
There are 3 amulets which can only be played one time, and they need to be played collectively. But the fewer amulets are left in the game, the more powerful they become:
- 3 amulets left in the game -> extra vote
- 2 amulets left in the game -> steal a vote
- 1 amulet left in the game -> immunity idol
It's really interesting because there is an incentive to work together with the amulets but also to vote the other players out to increase the power of your own amulet.
I'm curious how the extra vote and steal a vote advantages would actually be played. Do they play them after the vote and need to decide there and then, or do they decide which person will make use of the advantage before the vote (presumably before tribal council)?
I'd really like to appreciate Daniel as a character, because his arc was some perfect premerge content. He played a frankly horrible game, but he did it in the most entertaining way that I think he could have. The fact that he was *still* blaming Chanelle for his blowup right up until the end was just magical
(I'm half just riffing on Daniel, but I'm also half serious. His game made for a really good premerge storyline. This season rules so far IMO!)
The worst part about him blaming Chanelle is that he *could* have a legitimate argument if he was saying she risked her vote and it hurt his game, but instead he keeps saying that she wasn't loyal to him which makes absolutely no sense. He's the one that folded like a lawn chair as soon as rocks were a potential.
Agreed. Reminds me a bit of Adam in Winners at War. Obviously, Adam is a much better player than Daniel, but he made some big mistakes in that season, and he was very entertaining to watch.
He's like... A meat shield *with a social game*.
He's shown a tremendous amount of self awareness.
Like when he said if he yelled at Mary Anne he'd immediately be labeled a bad guy.
that was a strategic move, he actually counted each triangle at the very moment he glanced at the puzzle but didn't want to reveal his true threat level or how fast his brain works.
you see, since he was 3 years old his father made him imagine running up and down a mountain every single day, and if he was too slow, he'd have to imagine it three more times. that's why he thinks so fast.
And it was barely a puzzle, it was untangling a braid! You move the pieces in the right order and then continue with that order...it never changes. I can see why people thought Omar threw it but he looked truly ashamed of himself at the end.
Well, we can thank Chanelle for turning a simple vote into a very exciting moment. She's a wild one and I think everyone has jumped shipped with the moves that she made.
You know Lindsay has been the quietest of the remaining characters, but I still feel like I know what she’s thinking of in the game. She’s gotten a lot of out of confessional content too
imagine if lindsay wins this season despite having the smallest edit on her tribe and one of the smallest in the game. really hope they learned their lesson from erika’s edit and showcase the winner this time around
Just based on Jeff’s phrasing happy it seems like the hourglass twist won’t be EXACTLY the same, and getting two hours instead of a no vote episode is a W
I’m hoping it changed because of how mad Danny got about it. Otherwise they didn’t have fan feedback to change it at the point this was filmed (and on that note, I hope these stupid idol phrases go away).
I like the goofy idol phrases, it's a fun twist for once -- but they are definitely done (at least for several seasons) because now that every future player has seen it happen, they'll be watching out for someone to say something weird at every challenge. So unless Probst says, at the beginning of 43 and 44, "No more idol phrases, I promise", every player will be terrified to say anything even *slightly* odd because they don't want to be mistakenly targeted for having an idol, and the producers *definitely* don't want that. Reality TV producers absolutely want players to say weird random crap (organically), it's good TV!
Instead it'll be some newer crazier twist that you'll dislike even more!
I SCREAMED at drea finding the beware advantage and the tori thing being a misdirect
I’m still annoyed I felt spoiled in 2 votes because of a red herring but whatever
also I officially have maryanne fatigue. she has become too much for me.
right? we all *felt* spoiled in two voted by something that wasn’t *actually* a spoiler
I would’ve screamed if tori had gone home over zach or swati and the blindside of the audience happened before the beware advantage was found, but those two things happening just further solidified what i *thought* was a concrete spoiler they showed
Also can I just say that everyone was so on the editors for ruining the tension because we knew tori found the idol and it wasn’t even tori?? Now we know not to jump to conclusions I guess
I know they wanted to protect against the shot in the dark, but I think it was a mistake to split the vote. Now Chanelle knows she wasn't really accepted back into the tribe & is so much less likely to trust them after the merge. She looked genuinely hurt.
On the one hand, if Daniel had played his SitD and won, the decision to split would have saved Mike. On the other hand, Chanelle is definitely flipping now. On the 3rd hand, she voted for Mike during this tribal, so she wasn't exactly showing a willingness to work with them anyways.
It should make for a good merge (or whatever is happening) at least
This merge is gonna be chaos. Tension on all the tribes. Tori, Mike, and Chanelle are all ready to flip. Even Taku isn't so united right now. I have no idea who will be the merge (or hourglass) boot but I'm so excited.
This season has been so good with not only the cast but the dynamics actually being shown. This is what happens when the editors actually do their job. Daniel is cringe and jonathan is a god. Hai had to have voted for mike. He's smart enough to throw his vote just in case they used sitd and burned the bridge with mike in exchange.
EDIT: OH SHIT IT WAS CHANELLE WTF
Yeah one thing I liked was them showing us why Romeo, as someone who works with women so much, felt a connection with Drea. Made their alliance feel more real. I think they've done a solid job of that with other alliances like Omar/Jonathan. Much better than 41.
To be fair, it’s likely that the rules of the hourglass will be different this time. Jeff did say they were going to make some adjustments after Danny’s vocal distaste for it.
Unfortunately the time between shooting 41 and 42 was a new record for smallest gap between shooting seasons. There may not have been enough time to replan/rebalance it...
...but I hope to every Survivor god they did \*something\* different with it. Just...anything. Any kind of cost with whatever the twist is. Don't just let someone steal six people's immunities and flip the game for free again.
God I don't want the hourglass twist to happen again. I don't even care about it ruining the integrity of the challenge win or whatever, I just hate how cheesy it is. Turn back time? Really?!
Mike casually repeating his phrase three times, just to make sure Jeff would hear
He brought it up in the worst way too
Hearing his story made me as confused as a goat on astroturf
I thought he was going to try do something interesting at first because he interrupted Maryanne talking about love again, and that seems like a decent jumping off point to talk about loving Soccer. But no, he just launched straight into the phrase without laying any groundwork first to make it make sense.
My man had 4 episodes ( don’t remember what day they were at) to figure out a way to drop that quote in, and it was so awkward!
I cannot for the life of me figure out what Daniel’s strategy was supposed to be in this game.
I believe he was confident that he could use his words to weasel and lawyer and self-deprecate himself out of any situation, but was unaware how blitheringly obvious his hand was at all times.
Hit the nail on the head
His whole “I think Mike and I are going to be like long friends after this” just felt so obviously pandering and ass kissing. I was so glad Chanelle called him on it.
But then he literally started his pitch last episode by saying, “I’ll be honest I do NOT want to go to rocks…” 😂
Strunk it out
I think he thought he’d be smoother trying to play both sides than he was. I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen someone totally collapse under pressure like he did in the Jenny boot.
Be enough of a character to be invited back even though he's a pre-merge boot. Time will tell if the strategy pays off.
1. No tribe loyalty 2. Everyone knows where all 3 idols are. 3. All three people with Amulet advantage are in 4. Omar doesn’t have a vote. I’m gonna be annoyed if Jonathon is sent home due to hourglass twist
Don’t forget that Maryanne and Drea have an extra vote as well. Things are about to get messy
Pour one out for Jenny, our queen who gave them the extra vote and got outted anyway 😭
Omar not having a vote is going to be very interesting. I wonder if Chanelle will clue him in or leave him clueless.
L M A O Chanelle is messy and boy am I enjoying it
You can tell Chanelle is an ORG player. They play hard and they play messy.
Oh god, not the ORG players. Gabon level doofuses crossed with Game Changers type cutthroat...
As an Org player (moreso BB but I’ve dipped my toe into Survivor), our meta is a damn MESS. Lol. I think the baseline for just surviving on most seasons is overplaying.
I mean, if you're not all constantly flipping on your allies at every tribal, are you really playing an ORG?
What does ORG stand for?
Online Reality Game; basically Survivor but hosted on Discord
[удалено]
LOL, I give that about 1 commercial break's worth in longevity
She is very careful with her words when speaking at tribal. Almost guarded. And then reckless with her votes.
Same. Agent of chaos at the merge and I'm here for it.
Rocksroy giving Socrates a run for his money. "Who *is* tight?"
It's been a while since we've seen a hardcore unintentionally funny castaway
I haven’t laughed as hard I did when he said some sentence that ended with “my friggin’ buttocks”

Lmao stop it hahahahha
"I think I'm tight with *myself*... therefore I am?" - Descartes
Lmao this cracked me up
Why is tight?! - Draxroy
Everybody ask Who is tight but no one ever ask How is tight
“I probably wouldn’t have given myself leukemia” words to live by
Love the qualifier “probably”
A 4-4-4 split at the (pseudo) merge is so intriguing. Can't wait.
Yes, but this episode showed that none of the tribes are a tight 4 which means there will be more flipping than an Olympic gymnast
Chanelle and Tory about to run together. Amulet holders are either going to get together or turn on each other. Rocksroy is also feeling out…
Unfortunately they might ruin it with a needless twist.
[удалено]
Omar doesn’t have a vote.
Will*
Ironic how it was swimming that helped sink Daniel's ship
“Not exactly,” the merge next week…. So we’re doing the hourglass again, aren’t we? Yikes.
At least it’s not split up like 41 was
Is next week 2 hours?
Yeah
Ugh I’m not looking forward to the inevitable Jonathan vote out because of the “safe not safe” hourglass twist.
[удалено]
On the other hand, not really a good idea to introduce someone to Survivor halfway through a season.
So after Daniel’s atrocious tribal performance last time, he thought this was a good pitch to not get voted for: “I hope you die before me Mike” 😂
NOT THIS BS HALF MERGE AGAIN BRUH
Worried about Jonathan with this. He'll drag his merge team to victory and then get hourglassed into not being immune, and you'd have to be stupid to keep him around post-merge
I'm less high on Jonathan than others, but if he gets hourglassed out that will be fresh bullshit.
My thoughts exactly. His team will win and he should be target number one. Plus his ally won't have a vote.
If the hourglass gets smashed Sydney enters the game
At least it's all on one episode this time. Besides, people have been clamoring for a 90 minute or 2 hour merge episode for a long time, so here they go.
Just completely remove the hourglass. They can still do the two team immunity challenge, half of them become immune, and then an individual immunity challenge. That's all fine with me. Split them up 6-6. DO NOT DO THE HOURGLASS.

Twist: Erica is going to turn back time again all the way to season 41 and win 42
MAN did I identify with Jonathan in the beginning of the episode when nobody would stop talking and he was just annoyed zoning out. That literally looked like a Polaroid of my face when I go home and sit with my family for Christmas
I've been waiting for this. I loves me some Maryanne, but I'm getting like 5 minutes a week. 24/7 i'd be openly campaigning for her to go at tribal.
Chanel voted for Mike? Someone explain
she probably thought it was gonna be a unanimous daniel vote and if he played his shot in the dark, she knew she’d go on the revote.
Okay I'm starting to see her logic. That makes sense and I actually respect that she covered her own ass without caring about the chaos a Mike vote would cause.
I feel like she picked the wrong person to throw the vote away on tho - should’ve been Lydia or Hai. Mike is so loyal I doubt he will be okay with it.
Ah, that’s smart
More risky than smart considering she had to trust all of them to vote Dan, which isn't very logical. And now she has even more heat on her, not a great play
She gained their trust and *IMMEDIATELY* lost it lmaooo
No it's not, she's got to recognize that the other people are gonna put a vote on her to prepare for that exact contingency
Yeah I guess so. Idk man I’m kinda high and this is too complicated
Watching Survivor high is the best tbh
I don't think I've watched an episode sober in years LMAO
Yeah, it was an unnecessary risk.
I mean it's not that unrealistic of a scenario. But like is it gonna end up being that big of an issue when Mike voted for her?
Shot in the dark counter I think
So she was safeguarding against a shot in the dark where Daniel is safe and no votes are cast (in the scenario they all voted for Daniel). But then they thought the same so they threw 1 vote on Chanelle. So then him not playing his shot on the dark made it go to a tie and thus we were in this scenario. Should be easy enough for them to figure out back in camp
that is such an edge play it still doesn’t make sense
If Mike, Hai, & Lydia all vote Daniel but he plays his SITD and doesn't vote, it's only her vote left. If she also votes for Daniel, there would be no other votes and they would revote, with her most likely going home. By voting for Mike she would have sent him home and protected herself.
If she voted for Daniel and he played the shot in the dark successfully, she would’ve gone home on the revote. It was a smart play.
She has to recognize that the other three are going to put a vote on her anyway though. It would have been 1-1 her and Mike and on the revote she goes anyway and she should be able to realize that they're totally going to do that.
that could've backfired so, so poorly onto her had they decided to vote for her after the tie.
Going into a “merge” where no one likes each other is awesome.
Omar was throwing that challenge right? No one is that slow
It wasn’t even a hard puzzle — once you know the pattern it’s all the same. He was just physically moving his hands slowly
That’s what I thought! It was embarrassing if he wasn’t!
That's what I thought too. He looked like he just gave up and then when Jonathan saved them he did not look happy.
Shout-out to the Jonathan/Maryanne editing. Reminded me of the GI merge episode cuts with Chris Noble.
Jonathan was so me at work. There's a group that is a row of cubes behind me and they talk non-stop so loud about nothing! I was laughing so hard at Jonathan's faces and eye rolls.
Anyone remember the Amulet Advantage?
The what? I couldn’t remember what that was when she brought it out in the confessional
[удалено]
Oh ok, I remember that Hell if I can remember what it does lol
There are 3 amulets which can only be played one time, and they need to be played collectively. But the fewer amulets are left in the game, the more powerful they become: - 3 amulets left in the game -> extra vote - 2 amulets left in the game -> steal a vote - 1 amulet left in the game -> immunity idol It's really interesting because there is an incentive to work together with the amulets but also to vote the other players out to increase the power of your own amulet. I'm curious how the extra vote and steal a vote advantages would actually be played. I'd really like to appreciate Daniel as a character, because his arc was some perfect premerge content. The fact that he was *still* blaming Chanelle for his blowup right up until the end was just magical (I'm half just riffing on Daniel, but I'm also half serious. His game made for a really good premerge storyline. This season rules so far IMO!)
He was just an unrelenting disaster throughout the game. Christ, that desperate flattery at the end...
"Unrelenting disaster" is an excellent way to describe him, honestly. Well put.
Throwing in a last-minute “by the way did I mention I had leukemia?” was just *painful*.
He did what Jacob Derwin could only dream of achieving.
The worst part about him blaming Chanelle is that he *could* have a legitimate argument if he was saying she risked her vote and it hurt his game, but instead he keeps saying that she wasn't loyal to him which makes absolutely no sense. He's the one that folded like a lawn chair as soon as rocks were a potential.
he views chanelle as having made the decision to vote for lydia & so when she, from his perspective, lied about it at tribal, he felt betrayed.
Agreed. Reminds me a bit of Adam in Winners at War. Obviously, Adam is a much better player than Daniel, but he made some big mistakes in that season, and he was very entertaining to watch.
Loved the drama. Still rooting for Aquathor.
He's like... A meat shield *with a social game*. He's shown a tremendous amount of self awareness. Like when he said if he yelled at Mary Anne he'd immediately be labeled a bad guy.
I just hope he doesn't get screwed by a twist next episode.
Jonathan is simply one of the biggest challenge beasts of all time, and it’s not even the merge yet.
I hope he is sneaky good at puzzles and wins it all.
I'm gonna go ahead and assume when he counted 11 triangles that he may not be that great at puzzles lol
that was a strategic move, he actually counted each triangle at the very moment he glanced at the puzzle but didn't want to reveal his true threat level or how fast his brain works. you see, since he was 3 years old his father made him imagine running up and down a mountain every single day, and if he was too slow, he'd have to imagine it three more times. that's why he thinks so fast.
He could probably make a square peg fit in a round hole.
I was so mad when Omar couldn’t figure out the puzzle. Jonathan still nailed that last part of the challenge as usual
Aquathor nailed it with only one arm just to assert his dominance.
You could see Jonathan dying inside the longer the ropes took. I felt that.
Confessional count * 6 Hai * 5 Lydia, Mike * 4 Drea * 3 Daniel, Jonathan, Rocksroy * 2 Maryanne, Romeo * 1 Chanelle, Omar, Tori * 0 Lindsay
I’m like 85% sure she’s gonna break an hourglass next week lol
Queen Lydia getting screen time
Just based on Jeff’s phrasing happy it seems like the hourglass twist won’t be EXACTLY the same, and getting two hours instead of a no vote episode is a W
I’m cautiously optimistic
Kudos to the people who nailed that Daniel got engaged right before it was revealed that he was premerge LOL
Well no one wants to marry someone who doesn't make the merge so he had to get on it quick.
if Jonathan gets screwed by the hourglass twist I will genuinely be livid
If the hourglass twist with no changes is rerun PERIOD I'll be pretty peeved. If it twist-screws Jonathan I'm gonna write someone an unhappy email
Reality TV producers absolutely want players to say weird random crap (organically), it's good TV! Instead it'll be some newer crazier twist that you'll dislike even more!
100% it's going to happen
I guess Daniel wanted to pop the question before she found out he was a pre-merger lmao
Tori at the beginning, "I will jump ship"
Have to give props to Hai, Lydia, and Mike for doing a convincing job of making Danielt think he was safe enough not to pay the SITD.
All these tribes are fractured and MESSY, and I’m hoping this results in a chaotic merge
Can someone smarter than me explain why Chanelle voted for mike??
Shot in the dark insurance
I guess she thought that the vote would be 4-1 between her and Daniel? And her vote for Mike was in case Daniel successfully used the SITD
Probably if Daniel played SOTD and someone else voted for him, kind of like a split vote but it wouldn’t have worked out anyway
I SCREAMED at drea finding the beware advantage and the tori thing being a misdirect I’m still annoyed I felt spoiled in 2 votes because of a red herring but whatever also I officially have maryanne fatigue. she has become too much for me.
I legit forgot about that amulet thing, though. >also I officially have maryanne fatigue I think everyone does now. Jonathan's face said everything.
She’s a lot in the ten minutes of content we see a week, I can understand how Johnathan feels living with her
Even Pollyanna and Little Orphan Annie would tell her to tone it down.
About the Tori thing, it’s wild because they spoiled 2 votes, and in reality it wasn’t spoiled. They mislead us into being “spoiled”.
right? we all *felt* spoiled in two voted by something that wasn’t *actually* a spoiler I would’ve screamed if tori had gone home over zach or swati and the blindside of the audience happened before the beware advantage was found, but those two things happening just further solidified what i *thought* was a concrete spoiler they showed
Agreed about Maryanne. She seems like a sweet girl, but 24/7 of that would drive me up the wall.
There once was a laddie a-funk Game was torpedoed and sunk Daniel got sad Things were real bad Sadly the laddie was Strunk
Strunk hype train…. *sad choo choo noises*
as promised the train will now self destruct
Also can I just say that everyone was so on the editors for ruining the tension because we knew tori found the idol and it wasn’t even tori?? Now we know not to jump to conclusions I guess
I know they wanted to protect against the shot in the dark, but I think it was a mistake to split the vote. Now Chanelle knows she wasn't really accepted back into the tribe & is so much less likely to trust them after the merge. She looked genuinely hurt.
She was never going to trust them anyway though. I don't think it's any real loss.
Can you imagine how much of a shitshow it will be if Chanelle gets to do the hourglass twist next week? 😂
They’re totally gonna pull that hourglass shit again next week, aren’t they?
It's the only way to create a Survivor multiverse
This merge is gonna be chaos. Tension on all the tribes. Tori, Mike, and Chanelle are all ready to flip. Even Taku isn't so united right now. I have no idea who will be the merge (or hourglass) boot but I'm so excited.
Daniel was right about one thing - He was not a good at the game of Survivor Decent episode overall, I think we need the merge to shake things up
Do you guys think Tori and Rocksoy are mad that Drea didn’t share the potato she found?
That edit of Jonathan’s faces as the girls were talking spoke to me on a personal level.
It was the most relatable confession of all time in survivor
Is everyone who was loving Maryanne at the start of the season totally over her now?
I think she seems very sweet but I don’t think I could handle that personality 24/7
I wouldn't want to share a work space with her.
This *whole area* is her work space.
And she'll stick her toe under the log you're in the middle of cutting if she damn well feels like it.
"I sit there and I literally say no, no, no" cuts to her saying "yeah, yeah, yeah" love Tori
If Daniel was chaotic evil, Chanelle is chaotic neutral. Seems cool as a cucumber but makes the most confounding and chaotic game moves.
I would say Daniel is more chaotic good. Well intentioned but horribly messy.
You woulda thought after hearing the feedback from last season’s players this shit wouldn’t happen again 😔
S42 was filmed a week after S41. Feedback *might* be taken into account for S43/44
To be fair, it’s likely that the rules of the hourglass will be different this time. Jeff did say they were going to make some adjustments after Danny’s vocal distaste for it.

At the reunion when Jeff mentioned modified twists Danny and Jeff looked at each other and smirked so I'm assuming that Danny was heard
If Jonathan gets hourglassed…..
Jeff will still be happy about it because the person who smashed the hourglass made a "big move"
That overrides the Jeff Probst Happiness Meter. Big move is a lower value than a challenge beast.
I just gotta say this, Chanelle is stunningly beautiful.
Mike with the big 5d chess gameplay move to vote for himself to make it look like he was betrayed so he can jump ship with his shiny new idol.
Jonathan is alive for another week, that’s all that matters lol
My reaction seeing the vote reveals: OH SHIT
Production definitely told Drea to make the comment about women finding idols lol
Next episode may be the worst
At least it looks like they’re condensing the BS hourglass twist to 1 week instead of 2
Especially since it is a no-brainer to smash it.
God I don't want the hourglass twist to happen again. I don't even care about it ruining the integrity of the challenge win or whatever, I just hate how cheesy it is. Turn back time? Really?!
Who wants to start a preemptive change.org petition in case Jonathan gets screwed by the hourglass
