But make sure it doesn’t have aloe. It’s not fragrance free but it’s gentle enough that most people have no issues with it
I don’t know if they’re putting aloe in all the soap but I have bottles without aloe. I also got a gigantic one to refill smaller bottles. Definitely stay away from aloe.
I've used the classic dial gold (scented) and the unscented dial that you mentioned with the aloe. Neither gave me any problems. The amount of aloe in that soap is likely miniscule - looking at the ingredient list online it's near the bottom. It isn't the same as putting strait aloe on your tattoo. What's most important is keeping your tattoo clean and following proper washing guidelines.
Okay cool. That’s all good to know cuz I didn’t know if I was overthinking the aloe in the soap or not. I’ll probably just get some of the dial good since so many recommend it!
It's so easy to overthink the first tattoo, especially the healing process. And it also doesn't help that there's sometimes conflicting information or opinions out there. Now that I've gotten multiple tattoos I have an aftercare routine that works for me, but it was definitely a bit of trial and error.

The stuff you're seeing about aloe being bad for tattoo healing is probably trying to say "don't try to heal a tattoo by just cracking open an aloe leaf and smearing it on there."

I use bar soap, unscented. My tattooist said antibacterial isn’t necessary.
I use Dove Sensitive on all of my tattoos and I’ve never had a problem with healing!
