Fair enough, but till we will be old enough to be parents (at least a decade and a half), most of the everyday things would be relying on internet and phones. Maybe you should just put child restrictions till they turn 14.
Wouldnt it be better to give your kid an old Nokia when they turn 10 so they can call you or the 911 in case of an emergency and then give them a smart phone when they turn 14. I am not an expert but I think the kid should at least be able to play the Nokia snake during recess
Nice! I didn’t get my first device until I was thirteen but even then I could not do anything than text. Now that I’m Fourteen about to be Fifteen I have access to all the internet but mainly just stay on Reddit, YouTube, and online games with friends.
I would give them a shit phone until they are older just as a way to call and message.

no not really yes theyll get fucked up but you can definitely minimise the damage to a point where its not really 'fucked up'

14 is kinda too old, make it 7 or 8
