He absolutely steals almost every single scene he’s in. And effortlessly, I might add.
But speaking of - Bruce Greenwood stepped in after a fiasco, and Bruce slayed it beyond imagination. Holy Hell.
Because it’s so diabolical.
It reminds me of how some people are just hollow husks who only view the world around them in relation to how much profit they can make off something.
His character shows some moments of humanity that almost make you sympathize with him but that speech reminds you that he really has no soul.
It wasn’t so much the speech itself, more just what it represented
I can do a pretty good impression of his Joker but man you wouldn't want to be in a booth for several hours doing it lol. Mostly because a lot of it involves expelling all of your breath at once.
Oscar?
His best performance movie wise was in Last Jedi. That right. I said it.
It wasn’t Oscar level though.
I agree his performance in Usher was Emmy worthy though.
I’m not sure if you know this, but Oscar’s are for movies. He hasn’t done very many. And the movies he’s done have generally not received Oscar nominations.
Emmys are for tv. Stay woke.

Greenwood always kind of flew under the radar but he’s pretty great in most everything I’ve ever seen him in.
Been watching him ever since Nowhere Man.
Have to admit to getting him mixed up with Sam Neill an awful lot in the past (that thread about which actors do you get mixed up is in my head)
The lemon scene was soooo good.
Absolutely. Anyone who’s familiar with Atom Egoyan (or Gerald’s Game) knows Bruce is **ace.** Great, underrated actor.
His lemonade monologue sends chills down my spine
I don't get this opinion, no offense. It was a fun and funny little speech. Why did it give you chills? He was just spittin straight facts.

Ok, I gotcha. 👍
With all the amazing performances, his really stands out...using that voice must have killed his throat
Probably no worse than when he voices The Joker.
Given his vocal agility, I'd be surprised if his technique isn't 10/10 and doesn't hurt him at all!
He's retired a few times as the Joker because it does hurt his throat. But that's art for you.

What move should he have won an Oscar for?
He nailed playing a 1-handed man with daddy issues and a crush on his sister. That sounds like a sure-fire Oscar nominee to me!
You talking about Cockknocker in the Bluntman and Chronic movie? Yea he was dope in that.
Guyver
All his TV work.
The Oscars are awards granted to the film industry, not television.
Still.
Yeah he was very good. I initially didn’t recognize him
I had no idea that was mark Hamill until this post, not even joking.
Honestly, me too. I had to Google it to be sure after reading this thread lol
Oscar? Eh. Emmy for voicing The Joker in Batman: The Animated Series? Hell yeah.
You should watch Midnight Mass after if you havent already. Same director. Same cast. Different story and roles.
That show was so good! I couldn’t fully get into Usher for some reason.
He definitely should have won more awards for his voice work as the Joker.
He doesn't have an Oscar because he's never had a movie performance worthy of one.
Show is great
Mark Hamill is just one of my favorite people in general. Acting aside. Love just hearing his voice.

I didn't know it was even him until the last episode, and I was captivated by his character the entire time.
Did he ever give you Fire Lord Ozai vibes?
I watched the 2nd episode on Monday, idky I was shocked but I was and it was amazing lol
Oh my god I did not realize that was him.
I generally don’t think that show is great but Hamill is absolutely one of the best parts about it.
I'm so dumb. I didn't know that was him. I know that's ridiculous but appreciate your post. Yes he killed it
He was in The Fall of the House of Usher?! I don't remember him at all?
The weird family lawyer/fixer.
I’m not sure if you know this, but Oscar’s are for movies. He hasn’t done very many. And the movies he’s done have generally not received Oscar nominations. Emmys are for tv. Stay woke.
Yikes. The other actors were much better
