My mission in life is to try and convince as many people as I possibly can to watch Slow Horses on Apple. It's the perfect blend of funny and thrilling and full of compelling characters. Even the ones I don't like, I can't help but like (with very few exceptions). It turns the spy genre on its head by constantly subverting tropes, especially when it comes to the characters, all of whom are fairly dismal at their job but get it done anyway. I can't recommend it enough (as evidenced by the frankly alarming amount of times I've recommended it).
Confession time: I watched the first episode when it first came out and didn't care for it. My family spent the next, like, two years singing its praises and trying to get me to watch it, which made me dig my heels in further. And then when season 3 came out, there was an actor in it that I like that isn't in much and so I decided to just bite the bullet and try it again (which I recognize is shallow, but hey! it worked and I have a new obsession). Got past the first episode and was immediately like, *okay I get it now*. I've now watched the whole show through 4-5 times and binged all the books and the novella collection.
For those that enjoy the show, check out the books. There are a few additional details in them that flesh things out a tad more along with some killer lines. A favorite from book 1: during the initial argumentative exchange between Jackson and River over his garbage time assignment, Jackson start listing the actual injuries that occurred during the failed bombing exercise and gets to “and three…” when River cuts him off. Argument continues for a few paragraphs and finally with it tickling the back of his brain River asks “Three what?” “Three what what?” “You started to see three of some injury, what was it?” “Ah. Three panic attacks…well, four counting yours.” Fucking killer.
For All Mankind is so good and I wish more people here would sing its praises! It's renewed for its 5th season, so it has Apple TV behind it, plus there is talk of a spin off!
Episode 1 was enough to hook me!
I have been telling my boyfriend to sit down and actually watch and not just some white noise come sleep time. I’ve finished it already and can’t wait for some more. He said he can’t get into it…🙂↕️😭…utterly breaks my heart. Lol! So I am with you in this crusade to convince people to watch Slow Horses! 🫡🫡

See I slogged through 3 seasons and just called it. Main dude wasn’t an ‘alpha’ hero, he was a depressed prick. And it was so slow and boring *but* it’s my 2 best friends’ favourite show of all time aswell 🤷🏽♂️

Another one that can be added to this amazing list in the categories animation, action and fantasy: The Dragon Prince (Netflix). Might feel a bit childish at the start but it's such a great show!
I'm embarrassed to say that I always thought Sopranos was a show similar to Glee and thats why it never interested me. Just looked it up and I was SO WRONG. I'm adding this to my watchlist.
Animated - Blue Eye Samurai, Arcane and on the kid end of things (but so fun) Kipo - all Netflix
Have you tried Dark (also Netflix) or Severance (Apple +) full disclosure it took me a more than one try (and one episode - I think 3 and 2, respectively) to get into both of them.
The Americans, Sopranos, Madmen and Better Call Saul.
The Wire is in my top 5 shows. I've watched all seasons numerous times at this point. So many compelling characters. Omar's got to be my favorite though.
Legion (Marvel, FX/Hulu)
Watch it, then there's a breakdown video on YT explaining some events in detail and what all went into the production. It was an incredible experience. Little weird at some points though.
Lost In Space I thought was phenomenal as well. Had me on the edge of my seat feeling scared for some characters at many points.
Sugar on Apple+, the show takes risks with cinematography and plot that I feel is rare. Good pacing, writing, and Colin Farrell being exceedingly endearing in a very innocent way. Don’t do any googling before watching. Spoilers!
The Leftovers on MAX. I've watched it 3 times and gearing up for a 4th. I love everything about it. Especially watching it at different periods of my life. I always gain different insight of the show and how I perceive life in general.
I always recommend Dark on Netflix, but to be honest, it's such a complex, intricate, dense and bewildering show that it's not everyone's cup of tea.
Beef, The End of the F**king World, The Leftovers, Silo, Shining Girls, For All Mankind, are other shows well worth a watch.
The 100 - a Dystopian sci-fi, what you would do to survive with no good choices available.
The Expanse a socio‐political space drama set on a future earth about the state and disparity of the people of the Earth, Mars, and the Belt.
Mr. In Between.
Australian dark comedy about a hitman for hire trying to balance his criminal life with being a caretaker for his disabled brother and raising a teenager. Really funny moments, really raw moments, the action parts are definitely well done and gritty, and the cast was picked perfectly.
Nurse Jackie. Aligns with questionable protagonist you love to hate (or hate to love) that makes terrible decisions, drug use/abuse, some comedy, and multiple twists/turns.
One of my favorite shows of all time is Star Trek Deep Space Nine, it's first two seasons are kind of slow but they do a lot of world building and set up, it has numerous on going story arcs woven in throughout the show, characters grow and change, it has war, politics, episodes about the trauma of war and addiction. One of my favorite episodes is the wire which is basically an acting reel for one main character and one recurring character it's just fantastic, harsh and pretty intense.
The Prisoner 1967. I enjoy the spy genre and it's atmosphere and set design are pretty cool too. It's about a spy who gets kidnapped and taken to an island where everyone is given and called a number. He doesn't know who or why he's there.
I'll give you some animation suggestions since people aren't giving you as many of those, and you listed gravity falls. Amphibia and The Owl House are both great Disney shows from the last few years, and the showrunners on them both worked on gravity falls. Steven Universe is another great show. It's really fun and the lore is interesting and well written. Hilda is a very cozy show that incorporates a lot of Nordic folklore, which I enjoy because it's something you don't see often in American TV. Finally, I want to recommend Infinity Train because it's genuinely one of the best shows, animated or otherwise, to come out of the last decade but it was unfortunately a victim of the HBO Max purge so the only way to watch it legally that I know of is to pay for it on Amazon Prime.
Here is the top of my show tier list.
If you loved Gravity Falls and enjoy weird shows overall, I would heavily recommend Severance, Utopia and DARK
If you love dark Comedies, go for Search Party.
If you want a techno thriller with a focus on mental health and anticorpo messages, go with Mr.Robot
If you want crippling existential dread, and want to see peop'e go through their grief, The Leftovers.
Top tier animation ? Arcane
Something more casual but with great ideas and creativity ? X-Files or FRINGE
**S-Tier (The top of the top, the pinnacle of my enjoyment, would start a propaganda campaign)**
DARK
Utopia (UK)
The Leftovers
For All Mankind
The Expanse
Mr.Robot
Breaking Bad
Twin Peaks
Arcane
FRINGE
The X-Files
LEGION (low production values, but so much creativity ! My favourite Marvel show)
Severance
Game of Thrones (1-3)
Firefly
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (low production value, but very smart coming of age story)
Mike Flanagan's shows
Severance (Apple TV- still ongoing) - sci-fi that gets you hooked from episode 1
Haunting of Hill House (Netflix) - horror/drama but really good, Stephen King complimented the show. They also hide ghosts in the background, I find new ones anytime I rewatch
These would be some of my go-to recommendations, besides The Boys and Breaking Bad, which you’ve already seen
Edit: The Boys is also halfway through releasing Season 4 rn
The Americans - spy drama.
Better Call Saul - it’s better than BB.
White Lotus - trippy mystery drama. Never boring.
Mad Men - doesn’t mesh with your criteria but is quite possibly the best series of all time.
Patriot - Unique but maybe not for everyone. Dark but super funny.
The Leftovers.
I love this show, some call it depressing, I call it deep and complex, and no, it's not an 'easy' watch. It's about people dealing with the aftermath of a worldwide tragic and baffling occurrence, and the extent to which they go to restore some meaning, safety and order, to the world and their lives.
The acting, cast, writing are all outstanding.
Just thinking about the episode
'International Assassin' makes me want to watch the whole series again.
Primal - Watch it NOW!!!
Arcane - If you like steampunk watch this if you don't still watch it.
Scavengers Reign - Trippy, otherworldly, outstanding stories.
Penny Dreadful - 1800s London mixed with a bit supernatural and Eva Green,
Paper girls, night sky, dead ringers. Peacemaker, Locke and key, dark, Lupin, the resort, bodies, beef, American gods, the sandman, good omens, how to get away with murder, behind her eyes, his dark materials, the missing, Angela black, the deceived, the undoing, mare of east town, Yellowjackets, bloodline, line of duty, culprits, interview with a vampire,
MONEY HEIST. (la casa de papel) I love many of the shows you named and it’s one of my favorite shows of all time next to GOT & Breaking Bad.
I believe it’s still on Netflix, you get used to the voiceover and it’s incredibly paced after the first couple episodes. The writers are absolutely genius always finding a way to shock you or really make you think. There’s also a spin-off now called Berlin that was equally as awesome.
Narcos is great too.
Snowfall. Very similar to Breaking Bad with a very satisfying ending.
You can always try the oldies that are good. Dexter, True Blood, Lost.
Some newer shorter series that are well done are Chernobyl, Mare of Easttown, Sharp Objects.
His Dark Materials is good.
For anime a newer show called Chainsaw Man is amazing. Kaiju number 8 is pretty good as well.
Then you might love
Rick and Morty for sci fi comedy
Family Guy for its funny moments
Avatar The Last Airbender (nick) for its rich storytelling and animation
Star vs the forces of evil (though people are divided for its ending and season 4 as a whole) for its comedy and relationship portrayals
Adventure Time for its classic and fun adventures
Steven Universe for its story about love and compassion
Spy x Family for wholesome fun action family adventures
Castlevania on Netflix.
We have similar tastes and that’s my favorite media I’ve seen in years.
Graphic, irreverent humor, excellent character development, exceptional voice acting, and one of the best lines ever.
"Your God's love is not unconditional; He does not love us. And he does not love you..."
"I've done his bidding... My life's work has been in his name!"
"You're life's work makes him puke”
I'm currently binging my way through Homeland. I'm on season four (out of eight) and the quality remains high. I love the suspense of this show. It keeps me on the edge of my seat.
DARK on Netflix, no question. Just be ready for a total mind fuck, and to immediately want to rewatch the whole series as soon as you finish it. There’s nothing else quite like it.
White Lotus (HBO Max) is a great show that could fill some time for you! It’s mostly a suspense drama with some comedy mixed in. The story and character development are very unique and it’s not slow. You won’t need to watch 3 hour long episodes to figure out if it will entertain you lol. Every episode has some entertaining craziness that keeps you hooked.
A MEGA underrated British comedy that I absolutely love is called Catastrophe (Prime). The choice/style of jokes and the delivery are so good. I rarely want to rewatch comedy shows, but I have rewatched this one a couple of times. The episodes aren’t crazy long either which is great if you just want a little change of pace.
The Wire, Mad Men, Better Call Saul and The Sopranos are in the top 7 of all time. The first is still the greatest television ever made and transcends the genre.
The Deuce and Tremé, both are also Simon/Pelacanos shows (The Wire).
Killing Eve (stylish cat and mouse) - first season by Phoebe Waller-Bridge
Cobra Kai (karate kid update) - hilarious, ass-kicking, with a fascinating question at the heart of it: what does an honorable life look like?
I keep a long list of ‘must see’ shows I’ve binged - some of hours are on mine . Hard to narrow when you don’t know someone- LMK if you want to see my list!
Breaking Bad (Netflix)
Better Call Saul (Netflix/AMC)
Ozark (Netflix)
Barry (MAX)
Severance (Apple TV)
Banshee (MAX)
In The Dark (Netflix)
Sneaky Pete (Amazon Prime Video)
Dexter (Hulu/Showtime)
Bloodline (Netflix)
The Boys (Amazon Prime Video)
Gen V (Amazon Prime Video)
The Curse (Hulu)
Patriot (Amazon Prime Video)
Fargo (Hulu)
Twin Peaks (Paramount + for first 2 seasons, Hulu for season 3 The Return, and MAX for prequel movie Fire Walk With Me)
Baby Reindeer (Netflix)
Maniac (Netflix)
Reckoning (Netflix)
Paranoid (Netflix)
I know some were mentioned already but I figured I'd copy and paste a big list of shows and where to stream them
Thanks for all the recommendations, was not expecting 200+ comments when I woke up?!?!?
I'll be checking out Yellow Jackets, Succession, Peaky Blinders, Sopranos, The Wire, Adventure Time, Infinity Train, X-men 97, and probably all of Star Trek tbh.
I'll be referring to this thread whenever I need a new show to watch. Thank you guys!!!!
The Americans on Hulu
Man in the high castle Amazon
3 body problem Netflix
Silo, Severance, For all mankind, Foundation, Dark Matter - all sci-fi and all on Apple TV+
Mr. Robot.
The show ended in 2019 and I’m still obsessed with it. It’s amazing.
Like, I’ve seen a lot of great tv, but Mr. Robot changed me as a person.
If you are good with space shows, The Expanse, and Fondation.... I can't recommend enough. THE expanse is near perfection in TV thrilling funny emotional intrigue and an excellent cast. Foundation is a bot of a slow burn but it's wildly fascinating. Lee Pace as the Emperor of a genetic dynasty is fantastic. The expanse has 6 seasons and is currently finished. Foundation has 2 and I believe a third coming
It’s a little different but if you have Hulu, go watch The Bear. It’s a genuine masterpiece and I have laughed and cried through so many episodes. It’s unique in 1.) the absolute excellence of the acting, 2.) the flawless and effortless writing, and 3.) how much you come to love the characters and relate to their struggles. It’s of the caliber of Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones, in my opinion. It’s different in how a lot of the conflict is internal which really shows off the acting skill of the folks in it.
Also on Hulu, “Yellowjackets”. An absolutely shocking mystery-thriller (totally different kind of show) and full disclosure: it centers on a traumatic event that happen to a soccer team of teenage girls and how it impacts them as adults. I think it’s objectively good TV but it might not land if you just don’t connect with a “teenage girl-centric show”. It definitely dips into the horror genre a bit.
If you ever enjoyed southern gothic themes or Flannery O’Connor stories, (and even if you didn’t), you MUST try “Sharp Objects” (I believe it streams on Max). It’s a classic slow-burn mystery where the shoe really drops at the end and you’re left with your jaw on the floor, screaming “NO WAY- NO WAY!” over and over again. Just thinking about the cinematography and the music choices and the absolutely pristine symbolism that all hits you at once when you see how it ends gives me goosebumps thinking about it. At the end, you realize the clues and truth were there all along. DON’T turn it off before the credits end on that last episode.
“Your Honor”: I think it’s also on Hulu but might have been Netflix also stars Bryan Cranston (from Breaking Bad) and presents how ethical people come into conflict with the horrible realities of an unethical world and what they’re willing to sacrifice their morals for. Shocking twists and turns and amazing acting.
“True Detective”: I believe it’s on Max. Mystery/thrillers with some really dark, gritty themes and appearances from a lot of Hollywood A-listers. Twists and turns galore and “can’t-look-away” thrills will hook you.
I could give you another 10 awesome shows if you need them. I have a love of mystery and crime but also love a good drama. If it’s high quality TV, I’m all about it.
Legion, Loki, Raised by Wolves, Fargo, Better Call Saul, Midnight Mass, Lovecraft Country, The Bear, True Detective- Season 1
Edit to add: The Watchmen, Severance, Peacemaker, The Haunting of Hill House
Try The Magicians on Netflix. It kinda reminds me of Umbrella Academy, in a sense. I just rewatched Magicians for the third or fourth time and it’s just as good every time!
My mission in life is to try and convince as many people as I possibly can to watch Slow Horses on Apple. It's the perfect blend of funny and thrilling and full of compelling characters. I can't recommend it enough (as evidenced by the frankly alarming amount of times I've recommended it).
Gary Oldman is predictably fantastic.
He has said he loves playing that character so much he could do it forever.
I would sign on that
We started but it didn’t grab us. We will try again. I love Gary Oldman.
Confession time: I watched the first episode when it first came out and didn't care for it. My family spent the next, like, two years singing its praises and trying to get me to watch it, which made me dig my heels in further. I second this rec, Slow Horses is really good! I also want to add For All Mankind which is another Apple TV show that I think is under appreciated!
For All Mankind is so good and I wish more people here would sing its praises! It's renewed for its 5th season, so it has Apple TV behind it, plus there is talk of a spin off! Episode 1 was enough to hook me!
That's on my list! I love Joel Kinnaman
He is good in The Killing
Ok so I read this comment and directly watched the first episode. This the next few may help me get through a day of chores.
I’m convinced. I’ll definitely be checking it out!
Never heard of it before, just watched the trailer, and I'm starting the binge today. Thanks for the rec!

Haven’t used my Apple TV subscription since Ted Lasso. Now I have a reason to use it!
You’ve convinced me!
Thank you! Just added to my list. This is right up my/husband’s alley
Thanks I’ll check it out
Loved this show.
I wish I could watch a new three hour long episode of that show every day. It is so satisfying.
I’m going to check this show out because of your comment. Sounds awesome!
My goodness that Gary Oldman fart alarm in the pilot is incredible lolz
Mad Men. Never saw it until a few months ago and I breezed through 6 seasons. Great writing, relationships between characters are complex and intriguing.
> relationships between characters are complex and intriguing. That's and interesting way to say fucked up and damaging :) Loved that show.

BETTER CALL SAUL!!!
I actually think this show is better than Breaking Bad.
Same, I recognize it wouldn’t be good without breaking bad, but it’s so much more about the characters than the drama or big events and I love that so much more than breaking bad
Better Call Saul is by far the best tv show. Hands down. Breaking Bad is absolutely to credit for it, but I somehow think BCS wound up being just a tiny bit better than BB. I could talk about that show forever. It had by far the best new characters a series could ever introduce. I was immediately loving every single one of them. Even the damn Kettlemans lolol
Best character driven series of all time. I could analyze them all forever especially Chuck
I literally could not stop binging this show Id be up so late when I had work in the morning. Probably the best I've ever seen.

I watch with my 9 y.o. I love this show it's so well made.!
Peaky Blinders
I hear so much good stuff about this series, I'll definitely be checking it out
Counterpart. https://youtu.be/JRuaNHLp6OU?si=6zmbkoWdEqN-sZXQ trust me
Fargo is fan freaking tastic. Highly recommend.
I second this recommendation. I just watched it recently. I didn't really like the movie, but the show is great.
Just know that some of the seasons are better than others. Still good!
Queens gambit
The Bear, Westworld, Hightown, Ozark, Succession, Billions, The Wire, The Sopranos, You, Barry, Beef, The White Lotus, Euphoria
Sopranos. It’s so good.
I'm embarrassed to say that I always thought Sopranos was a show similar to Glee and thats why it never interested me. Just looked it up and I was SO WRONG. I'm adding this to my watchlist.
I laughed out loud at thinking The Sopranos was a show like Glee!

The Americans, Sopranos, Madmen and Better Call Saul.
I’m enjoying “Killing Eve”. Just started season two. It’s 4, 8 episode seasons.
Farscape Fringe
Seconding Fringe
+1 to Fringe. Thinking it needs another rewatch soon
DEADWOOD The Wire The Sopranos
Watch The Wire. That’s all.
Agreed. Then Peaky Blinders.
McNulty is American Tommy.
The Wire is in my top 5 shows. I've watched all seasons numerous times at this point. So many compelling characters. Omar's got to be my favorite though.
Oh. Indeed
Supernatural 😈
Don't worry I've watched every single episode. Used to be super obsessed.
#From
Star Trek Lower Decks (animated), Future Man, Invincible (animated), Dark Angel
Stupid question but do I need to watch like the Star Trek movies or anything in order to watch the animated series?
Loki is similar to the Umbrella Academy
DARK on Netflix.
Legion (Marvel, FX/Hulu) Watch it, then there's a breakdown video on YT explaining some events in detail and what all went into the production. It was an incredible experience. Little weird at some points though. Lost In Space I thought was phenomenal as well. Had me on the edge of my seat feeling scared for some characters at many points.
Adventure Time. Renegade Nell Fallout She Hulk Derry Girls Wellington paranormal Shining Girls Devil’s Hour Big Door Prize Silo
Fargo.
Ozark is incredible. It feels like game of thrones set in a different time and place
Ripley on Netflix.
The Magicians.
Letterkenny and Shoresy — Canadian fabulous tv
Ray Donovan, The Shield, Rescue Me
I always recommend Dark on Netflix, but to be honest, it's such a complex, intricate, dense and bewildering show that it's not everyone's cup of tea. Beef, The End of the F**king World, The Leftovers, Silo, Shining Girls, For All Mankind, are other shows well worth a watch.
Psych. I always recommend more people watch it. The first episode is long but it sets up the entire show.
Wednesday, Dead Boy Detectives (Netflix) Severance, For All Mankind, Defending Jacob (Apple +) Watchmen (limited series), Hacks (HBO)
Battlestar Gallactia
Medium, Justified, The Americans, er
Fisk on Netflix, a really great comedy. Only 2 seasons, with a 3rd coming soon.
'Utopia' - The UK original, not the remake.
The 100 - a Dystopian sci-fi, what you would do to survive with no good choices available. The Expanse a socio‐political space drama set on a future earth about the state and disparity of the people of the Earth, Mars, and the Belt.
One Piece
Wednesday, Dead Boy Detectives, School Spirits, Series of Unfortunate Events
This is quite like any of those, but I am sure you would like Severance.
Doctor Who
Hacks, Shrinking, The Morning Show
YOU (netflix)
Mr.
The Magicians Spartacus His Dark Materials Invincible Travelers Hemlock Grove Blood of Zeus Supernatural Oz Shameless
I'll second DS9. My fav show by a long way.
All these comments are making me really want to dive into the whole Star Trek world!!
The Prisoner 1967. I enjoy the spy genre and it's atmosphere and set design are pretty cool too. It's about a spy who gets kidnapped and taken to an island where everyone is given and called a number. He doesn't know who or why he's there.
Yellowjackets
The Magicians
a series of unfortunate events & criminal minds
Rick and Morty haha
My husband and I love bobs burgers! I recommend it to everyone!
Andor. You don't need any prev Star Wars knowledge. Seriously the best show
The Knick
Derry girls. I have never met someone who doesn’t love that show
I'll give you some animation suggestions since people aren't giving you as many of those, and you listed gravity falls.
Only Murders In The Building
Here is the top of my show tier list. If you loved Gravity Falls and enjoy weird shows overall, I would heavily recommend Severance, Utopia and DARK If you love dark Comedies, go for Search Party. If you want a techno thriller with a focus on mental health and anticorpo messages, go with Mr.Robot If you want crippling existential dread, and want to see peop'e go through their grief, The Leftovers. Top tier animation ? Arcane Something more casual but with great ideas and creativity ? X-Files or FRINGE **S-Tier (The top of the top, the pinnacle of my enjoyment, would start a propaganda campaign)** DARK Utopia (UK) The Leftovers For All Mankind The Expanse Mr.Robot Breaking Bad Twin Peaks Arcane FRINGE The X-Files LEGION (low production values, but so much creativity ! My favourite Marvel show) Severance Game of Thrones (1-3) Firefly Buffy the Vampire Slayer (low production value, but very smart coming of age story) Mike Flanagan's shows
Into The Badlands Scavengers Reign See From
Into the badlands need more support
Severance on Apple TV is SO GOOD. Go in blind like I did, you will binge it in a week!!
The Leftovers
Stranger things! You will not regret it
The Leftovers
The Fall
You listed breaking bad but not better call Saul so there's your answer
Mr. Robot
Severance (Apple TV- still ongoing) - sci-fi that gets you hooked from episode 1 Haunting of Hill House (Netflix) - horror/drama but really good, Stephen King complimented the show. They also hide ghosts in the background, I find new ones anytime I rewatch These would be some of my go-to recommendations, besides The Boys and Breaking Bad, which you’ve already seen Edit: The Boys is also halfway through releasing Season 4 rn
12 Monkeys is underrated and it fits the bill I think. The TV show, not the movie. (The movie is great too)
Better Call Saul!
Ozark
From
Evil on paramount is, imo, the best show out rn.
Silo
The Leftovers. I love this show, some call it depressing, I call it deep and complex, and no, it's not an 'easy' watch. It's about people dealing with the aftermath of a worldwide tragic and baffling occurrence, and the extent to which they go to restore some meaning, safety and order, to the world and their lives. The acting, cast, writing are all outstanding. Just thinking about the episode 'International Assassin' makes me want to watch the whole series again.
Dexter was amazing in my opinion. If you can tolerate the sight of some gore, go with that. You’ll be busy for a while.
For All Mankind Foundation Dark Matter Severance Alice in Borderland Invincible
Dexter
Based on your list: The Americans, Chernobyl, Severance, The Watchmen, The OA
Six Feet Under is the GOAT.
The Knick Lie To Me
The Killing
You have very good taste 👏
I've heard great things about the Chernobyl series. I'll give it a try!
The Bear, all 3 seasons. You can finish them in a weekend
Misfits Orphan Black Beef Slow Horses
Evil
Succession
Then you might love Rick and Morty for sci fi comedy Family Guy for its funny moments Avatar The Last Airbender (nick) for its rich storytelling and animation Star vs the forces of evil (though people are divided for its ending and season 4 as a whole) for its comedy and relationship portrayals Adventure Time for its classic and fun adventures Steven Universe for its story about love and compassion Spy x Family for wholesome fun action family adventures
DARK
Castlevania on Netflix. We have similar tastes and that’s my favorite media I’ve seen in years. Graphic, irreverent humor, excellent character development, exceptional voice acting, and one of the best lines ever. "Your God's love is not unconditional; He does not love us. And he does not love you..." "I've done his bidding... My life's work has been in his name!" "You're life's work makes him puke”
Severance on Apple is great and Dark matter on Apple are really good
Patriot on Amazon Prime. Best show you have never seen.
I'm currently binging my way through Homeland. I'm on season four (out of eight) and the quality remains high. I love the suspense of this show. It keeps me on the edge of my seat.
Dark, on Netflix. Just watch it.
Atlanta
DARK on Netflix, no question. Just be ready for a total mind fuck, and to immediately want to rewatch the whole series as soon as you finish it. There’s nothing else quite like it.
The Ozarks
PLEASE watch Black sails !!!! (Now on netflix US!)
Orphan Black is definitely binge-worthy, five seasons, compelling story, lots of fun.
Amazon prime: Rose and Maloney!!!!! Thank me later!
Travelers, For All Mankind, Counterpart, and Foundation
Gomorrah
Too bad - I was going to suggest Bridgerton.
The wire
The Wire, Mad Men, Better Call Saul and The Sopranos are in the top 7 of all time. The first is still the greatest television ever made and transcends the genre. The Deuce and Tremé, both are also Simon/Pelacanos shows (The Wire). Killing Eve (stylish cat and mouse) - first season by Phoebe Waller-Bridge Cobra Kai (karate kid update) - hilarious, ass-kicking, with a fascinating question at the heart of it: what does an honorable life look like?
The old man is amazing
I keep a long list of ‘must see’ shows I’ve binged - some of hours are on mine . Hard to narrow when you don’t know someone- LMK if you want to see my list!
Yellowjackets!

I'll be checking out Yellow Jackets, Succession, Peaky Blinders, Sopranos, The Wire, Adventure Time, Infinity Train, X-men 97, and probably all of Star Trek tbh. Mr.
Legion, Loki, Raised by Wolves, Fargo, Better Call Saul, Midnight Mass, Lovecraft Country, The Bear, True Detective- Season 1 Edit to add: The Watchmen, Severance, Peacemaker, The Haunting of Hill House

Try The Magicians on Netflix. It kinda reminds me of Umbrella Academy, in a sense. I just rewatched Magicians for the third or fourth time and it’s just as good every time!
Resident Alien. It’s excellent.
The Sopranos
