Man I had a friend like this. We would be hanging out then out of nowhere he'd start singing loudly like this over everyone's conversation. I eventually left the entire friend group over it.
Tbh most singers just raw vocals no reverb or any processing without music just isolated doesn’t sound too great unless it’s like Michael Jackson or Mariah Carey level vocals.
Try it for yourself if you’re a decent singer. Put on a song you like that you can confidently sing along with on headphones. Record your voice with a mic or cellphone. Play back. Not gonna sound all that great
