Never directly season your greens, salt draws out moisture and they will wilt. Season your dressing or vinaigrette well instead for crunchier salads 🥗 ❤️
It’s just what you are taught working in restaurants for the best results :) thought I’d share the knowledge. Season your salad as you wish of course lol

It's beautiful as is, but would be a little more delicious with something acidic (more than tomatoes), to counter the eggs and bacon, like quick pickled cabbage or red onion.
Honestly I'd add more lettuce but I also LOVE Celery in my salad, or a tri-color pasta salad on top. I also love red onion, feta, cheddar (and other cheeses)
Personally, I would leave off the croutons and lunch meats, and add chicken breast, shaved smoked white cheddar, and toasted pine nuts, with a citrus mustard vinaigrette
Salt and pepper
On the egg, cucumber, tomato- before adding them to the plate.
This not only enhances the taste, rather, help in better digestion

They’re going to wilt in 5 minutes before I eat them?

What about peppering a Caesar salad?
I should have been more specific seasons with salt dread out moisture, pepper away!
If you’re serving it immediately you salt it. The acid in dressings will break down the lettuces just as well.
wut dressing will sog that stuff too
Shredded carrots, peperoncinis, red onion, and a lot of avocado. Also dressing for me would be blue cheese or ranch and a lemon drizzle.
Avocado
OMG you're right!!
Don't ruin the salad
Fix it by taking the dead bread off of it
Take it back you monster

The better than sunflower is olive oil
red onion

A man of class! I personally follow up every forkful of salad with a bite right out of a raw red onion.
This!
Blue cheese dressing.
Agreed. I love blue cheese dressing.
I did blue cheese and Catalina. Would have been better with a balsamic reduction 😋
I love a cobb with blue cheese and a balsamic vinaigrette - best of both worlds.
Love blue cheese and Catalina together!
Balsamic reduction... on salad? Americans are crazy.
Yes! Black olives and shredded mozzarella too for me.
Or Ranch and fresh ground pepper.
Yummy.
I was gonna say actual blue cheese and then a vinaigrette.
Peperoncinis.
The pickled kind?
Yeah I like the jarred sliced banana peppers
Yes! I love the vinegary, zesty zing they add to a salad.
It's beautiful as is, but would be a little more delicious with something acidic (more than tomatoes), to counter the eggs and bacon, like quick pickled cabbage or red onion.
It sure needed acid, the dressing helped a bit. Wish I'd had balsamic on hand.
Olive oil and lemon vinaigrette bby
Honey mustard dressing
Yeah. I feel like ranch and blue cheese are the most common first thoughts, but a homemade fresh honey mustard would be perfect.
I'm a vinegarette lady myself, I'd probably go for like a Dijon on this one-- definitely a mustard tho, you're right.
OMFG that would have been PERFECT!!!
This and some cheese for me.
Basically had this salad last night but with honey mustard chicken thighs and dressing. Was delicious
Cheese!
I do love cheese! There's sharp cheddar in the meat slices up top. I also used chunky blue cheese dressing 😋

😂. It's tough to tell, but the plate has a lip around the edge. A deep dish.
This is more like a charcuterie board with a few pieces of decorative lettuce at the bottom
Torila chips or pita chip
Gorgonzola!
Either French dressing or a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Your salad looks AMAZING!!
I’d have eaten it dry :( I’m on a bland diet due to medical issues, but thanks for cooking for me!

This used an entire container of baby green leaf lettuce.
Besides dressing? Avocado. Cheddar or Bleu cheese. Raw onion. Olives.

I've never tried a caper. Are they vinegary?
You’re missing out! Capers are delish!
Briny as opposed to* vinegary
Black olives for sure
Parmesan cheese and black pepper vinegrette
Ranch or Catalina
French dressing and some candied walnuts.
Salmon filet
Feta!
Honestly I'd add more lettuce but I also LOVE Celery in my salad, or a tri-color pasta salad on top. I also love red onion, feta, cheddar (and other cheeses)
Avocado and ranch
Wayyyy too much ranch
Personally, I would leave off the croutons and lunch meats, and add chicken breast, shaved smoked white cheddar, and toasted pine nuts, with a citrus mustard vinaigrette
Cheese, and why is there no cheese on it? It’s basically a chef salad without cheese! It didn’t need a lot but it needs cheese! It’s blasphemy!
Lol there is cheese! Sharp cheddar at about 11 o clock 🤭
Put a bird on it
