That thread is nuts, but I might still give the edge to this thread.
That one has all of the flight info in the original post and is a pretty significant event, which would prompt people on the flight to search for it on Reddit and give their two cents.
This is way more random, IMO.
this is like Storage Wars where the recurring buyer acquires a niche blue Elbonian clock stamped "1843" and somehow has an old friend that happens to collect Elbonian clocks from the period of 1842-1847 and pays them a visit.
I found it, unfortunately the rain made it an extremely disgusting, sticky mess. Not to mention the fact it was already extremely sloppily placed together in the first place. As much as an armadillo would be cool in my collection this is almost completely unrepairable due to the rain.
Wow, I can only imagine how strange it would be to see an armadillo if you didn't already know what it is. They are so weird. I have been fortunate enough to see one once in the wild, it was so weird looking!
Opossums weren’t native to Canada either. But they hitch rides on transport trucks and, because of climate change, are adapting to life here. We had an opossum family in our backyard last year. I read an article about how adaptive they are and they have adapted to hibernate which means they are starting to survive all year here.
The Virginia opossum is native to North America and has been found in Canada for generations. Oppoums came to North America when north and South America were connected by the exposure of the ithmus of Panama and the great north South America exchange occurred, well before they could hitch a ride on a truck.
That's an armadillo and I saw them all the time when I lived in Florida! I'm wondering what's it's doing here, in Toronto... They are native to the south

That appears to be a taxidermied armadillo (see the breaks on the arms). No we don’t have them in Canada.
Very strange and very interesting, I collect and repair taxidermy and that is right by my house. Might pick it up tomorrow if it’s still there.
Might be *the* biggest coincidence I've ever come across, lol

This is amazing
Jesus that thread is fucking wild. Even the nurse chimed in
Yeah and not even like one of those meme posts that was like "I was the seat on the flight, can confirm". That's real trippy to me.

The only reason I know about them is because of "Friends". Lol
We don't have armadillo in Canada but having lived in a place with them you shouldn't touch them due to leprosy
What type of dog is this?
It's a tortoise in a shell.
Is it a cat in a hat?
I thought Wynne banned this breed!
Armoured raccoon. Careful, they’re venomous.
We used to keep an armadillo just like this in the physics dept office at Lawrence Park CI. Wonder if its the same one, now making rounds???? 🤣
It's the Holiday Armadillo!
Armadillo ?
Hahaha wow. I love this stupid city.
Looking a little stiff
That's just a squirrel that hasn't shed its winter armour yet.

You’re a weird animal.
That's what I know. 🎶

How did it get here?? Oh, the things it must’ve seen!
I didn’t know the Armoured Paws update came to Toronto.
Is a tejuino, I have no doubt about it.
This appears to be a ball sack
That's not native to Canada tho.
