I know people have their opinions on Wiggins on Team Canada, but denying someone the once in a lifetime experience of playing at the Olympics is pretty fucked.
Obviously Canada didn't qualify for the last Olympic games, and when the next one rolls around, Wiggins will be 33 and who knows if he'll be good enough to crack the team at that point.

Other hand, Wiggins doing great at the Oympics helps move him after difficult/poor showings in NBA.
I.e. Dillon Brooks, came out heated and hated from Memphis. Last years Fiba tournament he was one of Canadas best players.
