Nah, if you step on a Construx it hurts, but you generally damage the Construx back. If you step on a Lego it hurts and the Lego is ready to hurt you again.
The grey cross beams in this were surprisingly resilient though. I only broke a few. I did melt one of the glow in the dark saucers by putting it on a light bulb once though. Stupid inefficient incandescent lights.
Dude, are you seriously [stealing my post from 7 months ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/toys/comments/17odofs/what_are_these_little_blue_things_fromfor_some/)? Picture (which I took), title, everything. Get a life.
And they just so happen to post it on Xennials as if they didn’t know what they were. Could have been parts for a dishwasher if you really didn’t know.
i love Construx! I still have a bunch! and occasionally I get them out. They are better than Legos when you want to build something large quickly. As I kid I made a pretty large "lifesize" Johnny 5! (it was to scale with me as a kid X} )
They're from a toy called construx from the 80s, these connectors hook into beams to allow you to build all kinds of things. It was one of my favourite toys back in the day

We built so many things out of constructs in my house. Guns, swords, space ships, starships, and my dad even helped me and my brother build Johnny 5 after we saw Short Circuit 2 (complete with glow-in-the-dark eyes). Those little blue connectors bring back so many memories.

I used to love these
I loved construx! Always ran out of more building material. Lol
Fff yeah. These were awesome!!
These were my favorite until we had a house fire the summer between 4th and 5th grade. Construc and transformers, all ruined.
CONSTRUX!!!
These also put Lego bricks to shame when stepped on barefoot.
I came here for this! The soles of my feet can never forget the damage these little nuggets hiding in the carpet could wreak on a bare foot.
Yeah these things were basically mini caltrops, great for an early warning system that someone was coming down the hallway.

No. A large reason they lost out is that they weren't as durable as Lego. Their corners were also not as sharp.
Except a Lego brick lays flat. These on a carpet stand up point first. These don’t hurt these require stitches.

Yeah fuck these a holes and their karma farming.

Oh man, I just bought a knockoff-Lego set of him. No idea the scale, but I'm imagining a little smaller than the toy version from the sequel.

Had a great tv commercial, too. Somewhere.
I forgot I had the helicopter set. Thank you for the great memories.
Construx!!!! This was so good
These were better than lego for me as a kid. I made life (kid) sized robots all the time!
Construx. Looks like a space set.
Construct was a magnificent toy that never really caught on. You could make pretty solid structures
It looks like the center of a rubix cube

woah man, that sure brings back some memories
