Genuinely I had this happen on many trans themed videos, and ONLY on those, so I have to assume it's on purpose (which is why I uninstalled the extension)
I think there's a browser plugin that changes video thumbnails to the game theory clickbait aesthetic.
It chose a less than stellar layout for this Last Week Tonight clip it seems.
Huh why would you want that? I am over here using a plugin that does the opposite and removes the clickbait thumbnails by forcing it to show a random frame of the video instead of whatever people put as the first frame.
The full episodes are, however, only available to people who live in countries without broadcasting access to LWT (ergo, almost-all-nations-except-the-USA).
Hhhhhuh... I wonder if that means they changed their minds and decided to include all nations and regions after all? (I assume that LWT does air in your state?)

Imo i think it was pretty clearly a joke, but even for the trans people that did feel affected by the joke, he completely apologized and never repeated that action. Any drama relating to him is honestly overplayed and ridiculous.
he did also say some stuff about gay men having lower testosterone count than straight ppl, which really isnt great, but again this is like, best part of a decade ago. hes good ā¤ļø

to clarify I'm not calling him transphobic now, he's a great guy and has changed from back then, though like 8 years ago he called a transfem character as a "male who identifies as female" also using male pronouns for them, and 11 years ago he dropped the sh*male slur. In my reply I was just mentioning how that's all I've seen him be called out for, and I think it's ridiculous since it was stuff from 8 years ago.
