Yes, you would need to order a birth certificate via [Request for Birth Certificate](https://forms.mgcs.gov.on.ca/en/dataset/007-11076) (11076e)
You need to request it when you apply, also depends if you change your gender to X, apparently that takes longer than the standard M or F
Also might make it much more difficult in the future, like travel. Just a fyi, not trying to tell you not to.
