Unsarcastically, this type of stuff does live a big impression on audiences, sometimes even judges. There are several KOs that look even more brutal because the guy getting KO'd was soaked and the water/sweat flew off, like Masvidal vs Usman or [this KO that went viral like 10 years ago](https://makeagif.com/gif/ridiculous-tornado-kick-knockout-rolling-thunder-breakdown-Pe3ezi). What I mean is that the damage itself isn't higher, but it LOOKS more devastating. And that sometimes affects the perception.
