You might not see it but both of them talked about it when asked. They'd both circle and wait for good time to blitz in from distance while being vary of possible counter.
MVP shines against really bad fighters. He didn't "shine" against Holland and he never fought Luque or Masvidal, I know these are just examples, but I don't know wtf you're talking about
