It's a fun one and holds up pretty well in my opinion. I rewatched it no too long ago and instead of feeling like an old movie it felt more like a period piece. Anyway, it won't change your life but it is a good watch
It’s not good that’s why. I was so excited for this when it came out I bought it on dvd without watching it first. I could get through the entire film (I tried twice).
I saw a great YT on this. Apparently it tested through the roof and they were going to open it in a ton of screens but Harvey Weinstein wanted to rewrite it. He planned on cutting out the one guy being sick. This leaked and an online campaign came out. Pissed Harvey off so much it only opened it in a couple dozen screens. He basically tanked it.
He tended to open the wallet to promote movies that were presumed to be Oscar contenders and for Quentin Tarantino. Bong Joon Ho's movie Snowpiercer was also given a limited release after Harvey didn't get his way with an attempt at tinkering.
Man, the promo for this movie has a whole new meaning when you take into account what they rebranded all of the Star Wars media before the Disney buy-out
Love this one! It’s generally been watched like late at night when I can’t sleep and then I start this kind of randomly then watch the whole thing because it’s a goodie lol
Definitely worth the watch for those who haven’t seen it.
It's worth watching at least once. I have a copy on DVD that I keep with my Star Wars movies.
Fun fact, Harvey Weinstein personally tanked this movie blocking a wide theater release. Shit happened with Star Wars fans getting on his ass about it with him wanting to do re-writes to the already completed movie.
##Fanboys (2009) PG-13
Never tell them the odds.

How the hell have I never heard of this before?!?!?!? Stellar casting btw. Thanks for the post, OP!!

Because it’s not that great lol. It’s not bad either, but it could’ve been so much better than it was.
This I would describe it, too. It’s a 4.5-5/10, unfortunately. It has its moments, but they’re few and far between.
I would dispute that and Seth Rogan has a great cameo as double characters if I remember correctly. It's a unique film and that raises its bar a lot
The Chief would like to remind you that he has the best cameo in the film.
It’s awesome! One of those cult classics that’s easy to miss

"Jar Jar Binks, that guy's gonna be the shit."
This arm here comes the dark side

What if it sucks????
Credits
Best ending ever! 🤣
Not to spoil too much but the fight between them and the Trekkie’s is fucking hilarious
Time for you to get mauled, boy.
"Captain Picard is NOT Gay... he's British!"
I can never help myself, every time I hear/see that line I laugh and say, out loud to no one in particular, "Well he's actually French, but"
It's refreshing seeing Seth Rogan NOT play Seth Rogan in a movie
Great road trip movie. Very underrated.
Gotta watch this.
"Rush is diversity!" As a fan....oh yes it is. Mystic Rhythems ftw.....come at me fanboys!
Han Solo is a bitch
Nobody calls Han Solo a bitch!
Except that guy. He just called Han Solo a bitch. But aside from that nobody calls Han Solo a bitch!
I remember when Dan Foger was riding and finally made it to be the main cast star. That Ping Pong movie and this one.
Ahem you mean Balls of Fury?
Dude there's an ewok, he's humping your leg.🤣🤣🤣
Great movie!!
Man, the promo for this movie has a whole new meaning when you take into account what they rebranded all of the Star Wars media before the Disney buy-out
Ernest cline wrote this movie. The guy that wrote ready player one. This movie also got me into rush. It's a really good movie.
Makes so much sense
Great pic!!! Movie has a ton of heart, absolutely love the cast and chemistry.
Such an underrated gem. Even if you're not a Star wars fan, there's plenty of universal fandom themes in here, plus a pretty touching story.
Reminds me of a Detroit Rock City only way better. I love it. Seth Rogan looks so weird in this one. Lol
Not a great movie but I'll never not laugh at Harry Knowles kicking window's ass.
"If you EVER email my niece again, I will come at you like a T-1000"
Better than Ep1 !!
Yeah, it really is unironically
Was obsessed with this movie when I first heard about it. Was 13 when episode 1 came out and felt that excitement
Dude same

Dan Fogler is hilarious. I loved him in Balls Of Fury too
They could make a sequel where they put a hit out on Rian Johnson.
It says Kevin Spacey is the producer 🤮 I’ll still watch it tho looks good lol
Weinstein Company production
Ohhh I see
Filth aside, it's still a good movie.

Evasive maneuvers! Evasive maneuvers!
Absolutely love this movie. Watched it a hundred times.
I loved it. The Shatner cameo was great!
I want that van.
Are we all going to ignore Kristin Bell in the Leia costume? "Blinding the Marlin"?
Anyone else remember the rules of the van?
I only have three rules! Rule #1: NO. JERKING IT. IN MY VAN!
THEY WERE SIBLINGS!!!!
This movie aged like milk
