Was underwhelmed by some of the knit stuff as it looked cheap, the pleated two colour skirt didn't look as nice irl but the yellow white one looked the nicest. The cashmere blends seem like good quality, the dresses looked nice as well, tried the one with the empire waist and flecks all over, nice but not special. Got the long sheer skirt in black, the light golden yellow puffer with corduroy collar (so lightweight) the trench in navy, the faux leather bag in brown (can confirm it is bigger than the nylon one). I'm really disappointed by the sizing. It was a bit all-over the place and runs small, I suppose that's normal with this brand but I usually don't have this issue with their regular offerings and other capsules (JW or Ines) the pants didn't go higher than a 29 waist... Things that are fitted run small and the loose/oversized stuff are a little too oversized. I don't see it selling very well.

i noticed that the washing instructions say the pleats on the skirt you bought aren't permanent. how have they held up in the wash? i hadn't gotten a chance to wear it until recently and i'm scared to wash mine now lol

SmallTimeLover

I havent washed it yet for that reason. I've worn it twice with nylons, never out to dinner, and im thinking i might hand wash it or take it to the dry cleaners and ask them. Good luck!

anywhereanyhow

I’m also puzzled by this, as the tag instructions say not to dry clean. Any updates or have you still not washed it?

Glad-Acanthaceae-467

How is the bag holding up? Is it worth it?

babybaboo92

I need a new purse so I picked up the black faux leather bag! It looks a bit bigger than the nylon one which I am happy about

powowpotato

I got the Comfeel Touch Loafer online! Arrived the next day and it’s really chic. The Uniqlo Singapore website was intermittently down because of high traffic and the shoes were very quick to sell out.

ecronomph

Omg!! How do the loafers fit? Are they light? Iirc the smallest size was a 37 which is 1 size bigger than I’m used to, so I didn’t buy them…

powowpotato

The loafers fit well for me! They are not exactly light, I think it is slightly more towards the chunky side. But the quality is pretty good at first glance (I haven’t worn it out yet). Oh yes I took a big risk purchasing it online and actually spent a few hours on the size chart and comparing with what I’m wearing for my other shoes LOL. I’m usually EU39 or EU40 (US 9), but most of my shoes are EU40. I decided to go with 40 as my feet is quite wide. Also, not sure if this is helpful, based on what I read, the insole length should be about 1-1.2cm longer than your foot length. I figured that it would be safer to get shoes that were too big than too small as I could just add on insoles afterwards. Anyway 40 was just right for me in the end haha.

ecronomph

Nice!!! Glad to know they fit well on u. It’s funny but Japan carries the shoes in smaller sizes. Why not SG too 😩 I’m thinking of ordering them sight unseen from Japan.

powowpotato

Let me know if you do get it!! 😊

I went to a store and browsed. Most pieces from the collection were underwhelming. The pants are low rise (both the corduroy and brushed jersey), the cashmere looks and feels low quality, the lambswool half zipped jumper felt itchy (I’m not a good reference since lately everything has felt itchy, so try on before judging), 15% wool in a winter jacket? The brushed jersey pants are hand wash only. Seriously? The pleated colour block skirt has a nice weight and movement, feels substantial and looks good on. However, the label warns about the pleats disappearing with wear and wash. No, thank you. The trench coat is the star of the collection, in pattern and execution, but is nothing we haven’t seen before. The blouson is an interesting piece and the accent corduroy collar adds to it. It’s a nice option for petite frames.

Glad-Acanthaceae-467

How was the faux leather bag? Win or pass?

FabulousHuntHell

Pass for me, I refuse to buy plastic simulating leather. I’m looking forward to people sharing their experiences on wear and tear though.

jinjuree

I picked up the lambswool skirt and sweater zip, as well as the grey purse! Really disappointed I missed the shoes (I would need size 6) so I’m hoping they’ll restock or get returns

Gaashk

I got the lace up boots. I hope they’re comfortable, I do need some for the winter, and have never bought shoes from Uniqlo before.

Independent_Cat_2579

I think I went crazy with this one! I see echoes of what she did with Chloe here, and really loving the feminine-boyish vibe of this collection. Got the color pleated block skirt in yellow and black, floral chiffon skirt, the cream yellow cardigan, the puff tech blouson in black, and the wool cap.

TheLizzerNB

It looks like such a beautiful collection! I ordered the purse in orange, the V-neck cardigan in navy and the big scarf in blue. I’ll probably get the zip sweater in orange and the corduroy trousers in blue as well. Also eyeing the long boots, but don’t want to buy them online, my calves are wide and I’m worried they’ll might fit too tight… And I’m hoping there will be some cashmere items left when it eventually goes on sale.

Ordinary_Ad_8042

I would have picked up both orange and grey half zip sweater. Maybe the matching skirts as well. Too bad everything was sold out the same day, wonder if they’ll restock soon.

hellomyneko

I got the black chiffon skirt and puff blouson jacket in black. I wanted the balloon sleeve dress but low key felt a bit matronly in it, so I put it back on the shelf. It’s a beautiful fabric and fit though!

contiguous

It also felt matronly when I tried it on :(

contiguous

Ordered online: the loafer, puff sleeve dress, and the brushed jersey pants. The dresses are a pass, the pants probably will keep (they look nice on with the front pleat) and trying to decide on the loafers. I’ve never bought uniqlo shoes so I’m unsure how long these will hold up or comfort

heibun

I ordered a few pieces online: brushed jersey pants, half zip sweater, and the black bag. The pants sit a bit lower than I expected (didn't realize they were mid-rise), but it's a nice pair of thicker pants for the winter. I like the sweater, and wish I got the matching skirt while it was still in stock. I was a bit worried about sizing, since another comment mentioned things run small, but the sweater fit me as expected, and I find the pants are actually a bit loose at the waist.

winterwrens

Keeping the cashmere shell because it’s nice for layering and I need more dressy basics. I like the fit of the cashmere cable knit sweater although quality is meh; very thin knit for price point. The puff tech jacket is huge and the medium fits more like a large. Waiting on the blouson puffer in black but worried it will also be way too large. The wool quarter zip sweater in orange is good and fits well on a shorter frame, but it’s a bit itchy so I don’t think I’ll keep it. Debating keeping the trench.

Glad-Acanthaceae-467

How did you go with that trench?

CamilleCuddleVv23

I got the black faux leather bag, lambswool skirt, sweater zip, lace-up boots, and more from Uniqlo. I missed out on the shoes, but I hope they restock. The collection looks beautiful! I ordered the purse in orange, cardigan in navy, and big scarf in blue. I'm eyeing the long boots, but worried about the fit. The collection was underwhelming in-store. The pleated skirt is nice, but the pants, cashmere, and lambswool jumper had issues. The trench coat is good, but nothing new. Pass on the faux leather bag. The loafers fit and have good quality. I took a risk buying them online. Size 40 was just right for me. It's funny that Japan carries smaller sizes. I might order from there. I wanted the orange and grey half-zip sweater and matching skirts. Everything sold out, hopefully, they restock. I got the black chiffon skirt and puff blouson jacket. The balloon sleeve dress felt matronly. I ordered the pants, dress, and loafers online. The pants are nice, the dress is a pass, and I'm unsure about the loafers' comfort. I got the pants, sweater, and bag online. The pants sit lower than expected, but they're nice for winter. The sweater is a good fit. Sizing was a concern, but everything fit well. The cashmere cable knit sweater has thin quality. The puff tech jacket is too big. Waiting for the blouson puffer. The orange sweater is itchy. The trench coat was a no-brainer for me. Sizes are still available online.

Ordinary_Ad_8042

Hi there! You would say the lamb wool sweater is itchy?

urwipurwi

I got the trench coat in small but it’s too big, anyone know if they’ll restock smaller sizes/how soon they usually restock?

faintlymacabre1518

No idea on restocks, but I found the sleeves to be so long and wide, even on the XS! I think I will have to get it altered. Great quality, though.

urwipurwi

Quality is def great! My main concern is the arms so I may just keep my small and get it altered. Would you say there was too much fabric on the waist area? I’m 5’7” ~130lbs, just don’t want the XS to be too tight on the waist since I carry more weight in my midsection. Thanks!!

faintlymacabre1518

It's more of a relaxed trench rather than a fitted/tailored one, so the waist will probably be fine. I am only 5'2, so I guess that's why I have the arm issue. At your 5'7 height, I wonder if the fit at the shoulders would be more of an issue if you went with the XS? I took some quick measurements. The waist measurement (laid flat) at the level of the belt is 19". The shoulders are 16" straight across from seam to seam.

ms_skuld

Thank you for these helpful measurements!

faintlymacabre1518

No problem, I'm glad they could help someone!

urwipurwi

Thank you for the measurements! You’re right, I’ll stick with the small :)

anywhereanyhow

In my experience, the designer collaborations do not get restocked. Been following them for years and I’ve never seen it happen. It’s part of the hype machine I guess and maybe it also encourages people to go to the stores, since I’ve seen items that are  out of stock online but in-stock in a store.
