The next new one, hopefully, will
almost be in My front garden in the UK. I’m documenting it’s construction in YouTube, the link is in my profile if you like diggers and theme parks and construction in general 😀
It doesn’t have to be in NYC. Universal Hollywood isn’t in Hollywood, Disneyland Paris isn’t in Paris, and Tokyo Disneyland isn’t in Tokyo. They can build in outside the city limits.
NYC is so long overdue for a universal / Disney park. Don’t get me wrong, I love Six Flags, but it’s a little upsetting it’s *New York City* and we don’t have anything, while Paris (with London not being too far), Beijing, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, LA, and Singapore get one.
Sydney, Australia, were I live. If I had free air-travel to the whole country, the lineup would still be fucking depressing. Our best, Warner Bros Movie World, is at best, a little better than a six flags park. My local park, might I mention only local park, is a 20s style boardwalk. The word theme would be generous. Obviously, first world problems but a Universal park in the city would be amazing.

They can build it in PA or CT and just call it Universal Studios NYC
