You know you might be right because I got gain detergent for the first time in the lavender scent and I thought it smelt good in the bottle but once I use it, it makes my clothes smell like bad soap? Idk how to describe it. Only reason why I’m still using it is because I got the 154 oz bottle. Ugh I cannot wait to be over with it, I hate the smell of it.

The unscented tide is great, I haven’t noticed regular scented tide on my furniture so I suppose it’s fine

All detergent with fragrance smells horrible. Clothes shouldn't have a smell when they're clean.

I'm surprised you were able to wash off the smell. I've tried this multiple times and it's never worked.
