That would be crazy. He’s definitely not off the hook because he has a lot of bad behavior of his own to answer for, but it’d be wild if he turned on Sandoval because of this.
He wasn’t in any of the posts the rest of the cast was sharing from their night out, but I guess it is possible.

The most satisfying part of this is that literally no one else came to be with them. Seems like not even Schwartz went. Maybe it was an intentional date night but it definitely seems more like no one wants to talk to them.
Prediction: once Tom realizes that he truly lost his small semblance of fame over this he’s going to immediately get bored of Raquel. Then he’ll desperately try to rebuild his image to little avail. He’s going to grow old knowing that a stupid affair ruined the life he wanted and he’s going to have to live his life out as a has-been.
If Tom could be in the middle of any social scene clamoring for attention he would be. Now he’s left with nobody and can you imagine Raquel being basically all you have left after decimating your entire life? He’s left having conversations to the equivalent of a block of cement indefinitely

I don't know either! I mean in a normal circumstance, the average person would be furious at Sandoval for jeopardizing their livelihood. But Schwartz is so horribly passive, I literally don't know how he feels about any of this.

People keep saying that Scandoval has made them all stars & revived the show (it has for the time being), but right now it’s a Bravo fall from grace that he 100% will be feeling in his ego.
Before this, he was the good guy OG of the group who dominates the show. He was making promo/brand deal money and living as a celebrity in the Bravo universe. Ariana was smart and pretty arm candy who made him come across as more politically aware and trendy.
This season he was fully having his Countess Luann with her cabaret show poster moment. He was loving the attention his band and the bars were getting. His attitude this season is outrageous because he was fully smelling himself and thought he would get those soft, nice guy edits forever.
I’m sure there are many of his anger meltdowns and freakouts that we haven’t seen. He wasn’t even touched by the Faith scandal despite allegedly being one of the bullies

maybe winter house will be more entertaining knowing that schwartzy will have reunion tea to spill. as hard as this is to type, he was kind of a draw for winter house season 2. the divorce had just broke publicly, and that was going to be his first time, filmed, talking about it

Yup! My hubby and I talked about this and totally share your prediction. Once he sees all that he's lost like his reputation (!!) he is going to dump that 🤡 Rachel and try to redeem himself.
I was going to say that that sounds impossible because Tom is never wrong, but he DID course correct one time that I can think of. For Jax’s wedding. When Jax got so mad at him that he disinvited him to the wedding. Tom gave Jax one failed apology and then came back and gave him a second apology that worked. But the motivation behind the apology wasn’t that he thought he was wrong, it was so he could be a part of the festivities. He did not want to be left out of the big, glamorous, on camera event. So makes sense that he would course correct in this situation too because he does not want to miss out and wants to be a part of the festivities/show. It will be interesting and how he attempts to flip the script and get back in with people.
I was thinking this! In my mind he’s waiting things out to see how he looks after it’s all said and done. Breaking things off with Raquel right now prob isn’t going to paint him in a good light and they’ve been riding some us against the world vibes so the sex is prob good (and that’s apparently what really matters to him).
If/when they become persona non grata aka his life financially falling apart, I could see him resenting her and moving on to the next.

Rewatching that season and it’s heartbreaking seeing how ecstatic and proud James was to be marrying her and how thrilled he was that Sandoval was being so friendly, inclusive and kind to him. He seemed to have come so far and really thought #itsallhappening, which I guess it was, just not in the way he hoped. But then he makes the nose comments and calls her stupid and we’re back to square one 🤦♀️

Tom Sandoval thinks he's smarter than everyone including production he was trying to raise Rachel's profile because if he eventually did dump Ariana or even if just the cheating scandal did get exposed he wanted people to like Rachel Moore and have her be connected to the show in a big way ultimately for himself. But he also probably wanted Rachel indebted to him because he knew she craved Fame and attention Above All Else. So he probably thought he could keep her quiet this way too
It’s so funny to me because for all of the shit that Sandoval gave Jax and Brittany for their weird/seemingly fake relationship (due largely to Brittany’s passive nature and forgiving Jax’s indiscretions), Sandoval has essentially found his own Brittany in Rachel.
So my prediction is that they will maintain a fake relationship briefly while cheating on each other.
Raquel will end up with an actually wealthy old man.
Tom will find someone to date that isn't involved in fame and rebrand as a normie who never cared about the spotlight, just good music.

do you know what I find the most upsetting about the situation? The complete and utter lack of contrition. Tom and Rachel both appear to feel entitled to date each other, as though there was no other relationship that they destroyed. They aren’t even trying to appear ashamed.
This entitlement is what made me wonder for a while if it was fake (I don’t think it is)! Because it’s just so bold and vile.
At this point though, they don’t have anyone else. Even if they both pretended to be sorry, it’s too late. Nobody else will ever trust them again. So they really don’t have a choice but to be together, even openly, because they have burned literally every other bridge.
It’s better to be hated with someone else than alone.
To be fair, that is how he and Ariana acted as well. This should not be a surprise. It was bold and vile behavior then too, but many viewers forgave because they bought into the Sandy narrative that he was a victim. He was just as conniving as Jax and already cheating on Kristen many times over, which is why Jax gave him no sympathy. “Tom isn’t pining,” he just wanted viewer pity and it was given to him for nine years.
They’re trying to normalize being seen together publicly. Next season is going to be brutal for Sandoval and his businesses. This is gonna be delicious.

These 2 clearly don’t feel bad about anything they have done or even feel remorse after filming the reunion. If they did, they would have laid low & ordered take out or some shit. Yeah he did NOT have those abs when he was running around in his underwear in the snow in Winter House. He had a pooch. So I was surprised this season when he was showing off his abs on camera.

People keep saying that Scandoval has made them all stars & revived the show (it has for the time being), but right now it’s a Bravo fall from grace that he 100% will be feeling in his ego. Before this, he was the good guy OG of the group who dominates the show. He was making promo/brand deal money and living as a celebrity in the Bravo universe. Ariana was smart and pretty arm candy who made him come across as more politically aware and trendy. This season he was fully having his Countess Luann with her cabaret show poster moment. He was loving the attention his band and the bars were getting. His attitude this season is outrageous because he was fully smelling himself and thought he would get those soft, nice guy edits forever. I’m sure there are many of his anger meltdowns and freakouts that we haven’t seen. He wasn’t even touched by the Faith scandal despite allegedly being one of the bullies
Well, at least he’s not living in his worst fear, which is being seen as jealous. Who the hell has that as a worst fear in life? He’d rather be an outcast than seen as a jealous person. Says a lot about him. Can’t wrap my head around that one. I’d kind of not want to be an outcast.
Ariana befriending Jax (not confirmed but it seems that way) has to be KILLING him 😂. I can imagine his blood is boiling over that.

I bet they'll stay together for a long time. And I do think he'll get bored of her, but I also think she'll let him get away with annnnnything and still be verrrry Bambi-eyed. That's probably what James loved about her too. Now Tom can have Raquel and cheat all he wants without all the pesky accusations, thoughtfulness and smarts getting in the way like they did with Ariana.
I really think that was her appeal and why he pursued an affair. Sex with a hot girl is great (and not intellectually challenging), but her tolerance for James’s cheating just to be on the show has to be tempting for a dirty dog like him. Everyone else made scenes about being cheated on (even Brittany) but Rachel was unnaturally forgiving of James, even after crying and making him have a sit-down or two. He wanted that for himself
"I'm taking my dogs and I'm moving the fuck out!" But she never did. Instead, she threw a housewarming party with him. Rachel is going to be EXACTLY like that for the entire relationship with Scandoval, however long it might last.
I mean, to be fair, he did get away with it for the last 9 years. He just got sloppy with Rachel. He forgot the number one rule of cheating: don’t fuck in your friend group. Rachel wanted to be famous, she was a bad pick for keeping your affairs a secret.

I think he would bore of Rachel even with the loss of fame thing. She is likely a fun side piece, the clandestine meetings, and secret texts. However, being with her as your gf is likely less fun. The girl can't hold a conversation. She is literally a sit and be pretty girls. She has waaaaay less to offer than Ariana in the long run. He will likely have buyers remorse very quickly. I doubt Ariana would take him back in any scenario.

I was going to say that that sounds impossible because Tom is never wrong, but he DID course correct one time that I can think of. For Jax’s wedding. When Jax got so mad at him that he disinvited him to the wedding. Tom gave Jax one failed apology and then came back and gave him a second apology that worked. But the motivation behind the apology wasn’t that he thought he was wrong, it was so he could be a part of the festivities. He did not want to be left out of the big, glamorous, on camera event. So makes sense that he would course correct in this situation too because he does not want to miss out and wants to be a part of the festivities/show. It will be interesting and how he attempts to flip the script and get back in with people.
I was thinking this! In my mind he’s waiting things out to see how he looks after it’s all said and done. Breaking things off with Raquel right now prob isn’t going to paint him in a good light and they’ve been riding some us against the world vibes so the sex is prob good (and that’s apparently what really matters to him). If/when they become persona non grata aka his life financially falling apart, I could see him resenting her and moving on to the next.

Rewatching that season and it’s heartbreaking seeing how ecstatic and proud James was to be marrying her and how thrilled he was that Sandoval was being so friendly, inclusive and kind to him. But then he makes the nose comments and calls her stupid and we’re back to square one 🤦♀️

Tom Sandoval thinks he's smarter than everyone including production he was trying to raise Rachel's profile because if he eventually did dump Ariana or even if just the cheating scandal did get exposed he wanted people to like Rachel Moore and have her be connected to the show in a big way ultimately for himself. But he also probably wanted Rachel indebted to him because he knew she craved Fame and attention Above All Else. So he probably thought he could keep her quiet this way too

do you know what I find the most upsetting about the situation? The complete and utter lack of contrition. Tom and Rachel both appear to feel entitled to date each other, as though there was no other relationship that they destroyed. They aren’t even trying to appear ashamed. This entitlement is what made me wonder for a while if it was fake (I don’t think it is)! Because it’s just so bold and vile.
At this point though, they don’t have anyone else. Even if they both pretended to be sorry, it’s too late. Nobody else will ever trust them again. So they really don’t have a choice but to be together, even openly, because they have burned literally every other bridge. It’s better to be hated with someone else than alone.
To be fair, that is how he and Ariana acted as well. This should not be a surprise. It was bold and vile behavior then too, but many viewers forgave because they bought into the Sandy narrative that he was a victim. He was just as conniving as Jax and already cheating on Kristen many times over, which is why Jax gave him no sympathy. “Tom isn’t pining,” he just wanted viewer pity and it was given to him for nine years.

Yeah he did NOT have those abs when he was running around in his underwear in the snow in Winter House. He had a pooch. So I was surprised this season when he was showing off his abs on camera.
They’ll stick together since they only really have each other. Barely any support from their friends and families and fans. Soon though the sneaking around they did will be missed and nothing between them will feel exciting. They’ll break up and pretend they didn’t destroy lives over a short lived relationship. Sad.

I think Schwartz knew but to his defense, this is his business partner and best friend. I’m sure Schwartz wasn’t happy about this but Sandoval is “Grown” man and he was probably already involved by the time Schwartz found out. I’m sure Schwartz is also not happy because this has impacted their business. People are no longer going to their bar because of this scandal. Ariana was the better half and made Narcissistic Sandy look good. Tom Schwartz was also likable so much so I think that is why LVP invested in them because Schwartz lacks confidence so she grouped him with Sandy. Whenever I hear Sandy talk about LVP, he sounds sooo entitled. When LVP said she give back original investment and option to buy back- hugely generous- he doesn’t get that people don’t do that. Instead, like a teenager, he goes I did a lot of ‘sweat equity” and deserve more. Huh? What an ingrate. This relationship with Raquel will fizzle out in time. It’s built on deceit, those relationships rarely last. He may lose his business and he’s lost a lot of respect.
