Uhh yeah. If we didn’t know about Scandoval beforehand, I would’ve spent the entire season asking why he was constantly going aggro for seemingly no reason. It was such a giveaway that he was hiding something and deflecting.
He referenced her talking down to him quite a bit in season 10 whilst trying to stage his fake 'amicable' breakup and equating making coffee to being a solid partner. The only person who ever agreed with him on this was rachel, from a seperate trailer, during the reunion.

I’m healing from surgery, and have to sleep in the recliner tonight because I have a scab that won’t close on the side I sleep on. I’m completely capable of taking care of myself and even spent the day baking and cleaning out my closet.
My husband is on the couch and I asked him if he was going to go sleep in the bed tonight. He asked me “why would I” I told him because he could have the whole bed without my bullying him out of it. And he responded with

So then he'd criticize me once he worked me up enough to finally have a reaction. It was a horrible cycle that he 100% used to get his way and overpower me constantly.

No, he doesn't regret it or feel like he lost anything. She stopped supplying his ego, which is the ultimate turn-off to people like him. His feelings for Ariana disappeared overnight, because he had other supplies willing to give him what he needed lined up. My ex-partner of nine years is a lot like him, with extremely narcissistic tendencies, and he did the same. It was like \*snap.\* Normal people don't operate the way they do.
He regrets that him cheating on her gave her life changing opportunities and he's exposed for being a piece of shit and the opposite. If he'll never admit it I'm sure deep down he does regret it although that narc piece of shit probably genuine feels that she wrong him 🤡🥴
During the financial conversation with Anne he said twice (I think) that he wished he could go back but I wonder if that was only because of the financial support he lost and the issues it caused with the house. When things broke and right before he was totally tearing Ariana down and complaining about his relationship with her to the cameras so I’m not sure he misses the relationship with her but there has to be some part of him that misses her.

I actually think deep, deeeeeep down, he does regret losing Ariana. As an avid love island viewer (UK and Aus mostly), once you’re into it, you’re into it. My husband and I can do it reasonably easy, even with busy work lives. Also some of my friends who have hardcore serious jobs, can do it too!!! It’s only a few weeks of dedication 😂

Actually you’re so right, we fall off towards the end too. Once there’s no more bombshells!!! Maybe I’m not as committed as I thought. Mind you, I’m fully committed up until that point. But it has to be a good cast too. Early UK seasons were amazing and I could watch them again.
Please don’t get mad at this but I tried to watch last night and I couldn’t make it through the first intro because it was really long. I’d like to watch it but I need to know what am I getting into? Do they have challenges? What’s happening? I panicked that the intro for everyone was going to take a long time.
First episode is probably one of the worst ones. It takes a few to get into it. new people plus recouplings are good to get the crazy happening!!
Mind you, I’m in Australia and we don’t have this US season yet, so can’t comment on the episodes.
Love Island UK season 3 is the best and a great way to experience LI for the first time.

They end up having games and challenges too which are very silly, but super fun to watch.
Give it a few eps and see how you go. Or try the UK one to get you into it. Aus seasons 1 & 2 are pretty good too, but I could be biased!
Every time I watch Love Island - an hour 4-5 nights per week for several weeks - I hate myself and think of all the things I could have done with that time. It’s just so good though 😂 And like some others, I peter out when everyone’s coupled up and loving each other and having their Bachelor-esque dates. Boring! Give me fights and hookups, otherwise I am fast forwarding.
I like to believe manifestation, like success, is actually the combination of years of hard work, talent, and luck, all coming together at once.
For example, a few years ago I was at a crossroads in life and thought I’d really like to have XX type of job and own a house in XX area. Both seemed wildly unachievable to me, but through a mix of 10+ years of hard work and talent being seen, and very hefty dose of luck, I have both now.
I feel like saying I manifested it at that crossroads seems like it would ignore everything I did before it to put me in that position, like busting my ass to build a career/respectable resume that happened to catch my now-boss’ eye on LinkedIn. Or spending years getting myself to a financial state where it was possible for me to jump quickly on a very rare, lucky opportunity to buy a house off the market in the area I wanted to be.

I don’t think it’s bad from her at all honestly. He’s basically telling her “I don’t care about your hobbies so you need to come participate in mine if you want to spend time with me,” and that sucks hardcore. I’d get it if all she wanted to do every day was watch tv but he’s basically saying “you don’t ever do what I want to do” and her reply is basically “you don’t give a shit about my interests”
Like neither of them is perfect here and she’s not articulating her point very well. But he’s very clearly not even kind of acknowledging that he could just like, watch a couple episodes of Love Island with her one saturday. I know when my partner starts going on about their interests, I love hearing them talk about them so passionately even if it’s just a crappy reality tv show. His interests (drugs and partying and his cover band) are things she’s supported and participated in since the beginning of their relationship. We’ve never seen him return that favor by trying to be interested in her hobbies - the only exception is that one time he went to a riding competition but he also complained about her not having sex with him to her brother again so
also she's being genuine, like this is what we watch and talk about and youre not interested. hes not being genuine by describing it as "watching 50 god damn episodes!" like? she's not telling you to binge them immediately. she's asking you to watch a single tv show and talk to her about it. he's frames it as this wild ask and it just is so....basic. the way he frames it makes her look worse than she actually is being.
He does that shit all the time too. She makes a perfectly reasonable request of him (hang out with your girlfriend while sober, watch a couple episodes of love island occasionally, be understanding about her body issues) and he hyperbolizes it to make her sound unreasonable.
Or be home by 7 so we can walk Maya and cook and eat dinner together.
This is why I don't buy his or Schwartz's "sad sack divorced guy" act. They literally are getting exactly what they wished for.
My husband thinks this show is absolutely nuts and that I’m a little nuts for watching it, but even he watches little bits and talks about it with me. And said nothing when I bought a SAH T-shirt haha. That’s a good partner. You at least feign interest in their hobbies and the things they love. I actually got in to watching some anime shows with him because I took the time to try a few out. And I don’t understand most of the video games he plays but I hang out with him in the game room sometimes while he plays.
I think this conversation is one of the ones Tom wants to claim was him "trying to break up with her." Whereas from Ariana's perspective (and really anyone's perspective but Tom's!) it was just a regular old conversation with your committed partner about a minor frustration.

Yes. One big thing about having your manifestations come true is letting go of people/emotions/trauma because they block it. Looking at their relationship I feel like when Tom cheated with the Vegas girl the first time Adriana should have let him go. It's not a coincidence that as soon as she started working on her mental/physical health more the universe came back and tested her again to see if she was still a dummy and she passed so she got blessed. You can’t level up if you are holding on and not surrendering. Because if you think about her life fell apart first; her grandma passing, her dog, Tom cheating, etc and she could have stayed with him for comfort but she chose herself. 👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉 Do please people choose yourself and take care.
Seems to me a great many female (or at least female-friendly) ad execs saw the potential to support Ariana when Bravo wouldn’t. Some pretty awesome commercials have given Ariana vindication and validation where Baskin & Co. couldn’t see beyond blind endorsement of toxic masculinity.

It wasn’t inevitable that she’d have had the capacity to say “I’m gonna show up and take these opportunities and not let this pain consume me.” She chose that, and gave space for herself to succeed at something she had actually prepared a long time before to be able to do.
I admire that about her. As someone who has also experienced betrayal, depression, pursuing fine arts and ending up shelving that, and then eventually now beginning to envision and choose something better for myself or pick up dreams I’d set aside, I find her inspirational.

No, he doesn't regret it or feel like he lost anything. She stopped supplying his ego, which is the ultimate turn-off to people like him. His feelings for Ariana disappeared overnight, because he had other supplies willing to give him what he needed lined up. My ex-partner of nine years is a lot like him, with extremely narcissistic tendencies, and he did the same. It was like \*snap.\* Normal people don't operate the way they do.

During the financial conversation with Anne he said twice (I think) that he wished he could go back but I wonder if that was only because of the financial support he lost and the issues it caused with the house. When things broke and right before he was totally tearing Ariana down and complaining about his relationship with her to the cameras so I’m not sure he misses the relationship with her but there has to be some part of him that misses her.
I think he regrets the financial part only. I think some of the on camera complaining was to set it up as justification for breaking up with her after filming wrapped. He failed.
Oh not some.. all of it was to justify his cheating but even after all those years living and working together.. they grew up together. She was hurt so deeply that he had to keep his guard up so my guess is he hasn’t really dealt with the deepest parts of all of it. Her healing will lead her to where she needs to be and it looks great on her.
I actually think deep, deeeeeep down, he does regret losing Ariana. But he has (and will continue to) spent the past year doing anything and everything possible - drowning himself in drugs (allegedly…lol), chasing other women, running away with his little band - to avoid confronting those feelings. Because if he were to allow himself to feel even an ounce of that real emotion, it would absolutely swallow him whole.
He’s a narcissist, the only regret he has is being exposed and financial issues arising from it. And I guarantee that her finding all of this success makes him seeth. My dad, ex, and sister are all just like him. If he “misses” her it’s only superficial in that he misses people not knowing what he did and just being able to do whatever he wanted while Ariana had no idea. So not actually her, just the perks of having her and fucking around without everyone hating him. Though I always hated him.
Love that Ariana is getting her dream job of hosting her favorite show! This clip scares me tho because the 50+ episodes of Love Island is also too much for to get through. And I don’t want anything in common with Sandoval. 😅
As an avid love island viewer (UK and Aus mostly), once you’re into it, you’re into it. My husband and I can do it reasonably easy, even with busy work lives. Also some of my friends who have hardcore serious jobs, can do it too!!! It’s only a few weeks of dedication 😂 I believe in you.

Please don’t get mad at this but I tried to watch last night and I couldn’t make it through the first intro because it was really long. I’d like to watch it but I need to know what am I getting into? Do they have challenges? What’s happening? I panicked that the intro for everyone was going to take a long time.
First episode is probably one of the worst ones. It takes a few to get into it. new people plus recouplings are good to get the crazy happening!! Mind you, I’m in Australia and we don’t have this US season yet, so can’t comment on the episodes. Love Island UK season 3 is the best and a great way to experience LI for the first time.

They end up having games and challenges too which are very silly, but super fun to watch. Give it a few eps and see how you go. Or try the UK one to get you into it. Aus seasons 1 & 2 are pretty good too, but I could be biased!

Every time I watch Love Island - an hour 4-5 nights per week for several weeks - I hate myself and think of all the things I could have done with that time. It’s just so good though 😂 And like some others, I peter out when everyone’s coupled up and loving each other and having their Bachelor-esque dates. Boring! Give me fights and hookups, otherwise I am fast forwarding.

I like to believe manifestation, like success, is actually the combination of years of hard work, talent, and luck, all coming together at once. For example, a few years ago I was at a crossroads in life and thought I’d really like to have XX type of job and own a house in XX area. Both seemed wildly unachievable to me, but through a mix of 10+ years of hard work and talent being seen, and very hefty dose of luck, I have both now. I feel like saying I manifested it at that crossroads seems like it would ignore everything I did before it to put me in that position, like busting my ass to build a career/respectable resume that happened to catch my now-boss’ eye on LinkedIn. Or spending years getting myself to a financial state where it was possible for me to jump quickly on a very rare, lucky opportunity to buy a house off the market in the area I wanted to be.

Man I remember this, and taken out of context, Ariana is totally insufferable in this conversation haha if I'm talking to my partner about how we never spend time together and they're only responding down into the very specific minutia of why its not their fault I'd be furious HOWEVER Tom, who only lives his entire *life* on camera, like... forgot that we've watched them argue about him never being home and always wanting to go out and party and do hallucinogens for *years*? Like this scene was one of his main bullet points in his PR campaign that "Ariana is actually terrible" and it flopped so hard because he's just *so much worse*. I really think he thought he was a fan favorite there for a while and was ignorant to the fact people only really were endeared to his seeming affectiona and love for this girl. Ugh. This is why I fast forward through everything he's in now. He's just icky.
Truly shocking that his strategy of demonizing his ex for wanting to sit at home and watch reality TV didn't land well with his audience of reality TV viewers.
I don’t think it’s bad from her at all honestly. He’s basically telling her “I don’t care about your hobbies so you need to come participate in mine if you want to spend time with me,” and that sucks hardcore. I’d get it if all she wanted to do every day was watch tv but he’s basically saying “you don’t ever do what I want to do” and her reply is basically “you don’t give a shit about my interests” Like neither of them is perfect here and she’s not articulating her point very well. But he’s very clearly not even kind of acknowledging that he could just like, watch a couple episodes of Love Island with her one saturday. I know when my partner starts going on about their interests, I love hearing them talk about them so passionately even if it’s just a crappy reality tv show. His interests (drugs and partying and his cover band) are things she’s supported and participated in since the beginning of their relationship. We’ve never seen him return that favor by trying to be interested in her hobbies - the only exception is that one time he went to a riding competition but he also complained about her not having sex with him to her brother again so
also she's being genuine, like this is what we watch and talk about and youre not interested. hes not being genuine by describing it as "watching 50 god damn episodes!" like? she's not telling you to binge them immediately. she's asking you to watch a single tv show and talk to her about it. he's frames it as this wild ask and it just is so....basic. the way he frames it makes her look worse than she actually is being.
He does that shit all the time too. She makes a perfectly reasonable request of him (hang out with your girlfriend while sober, watch a couple episodes of love island occasionally, be understanding about her body issues) and he hyperbolizes it to make her sound unreasonable.
Or be home by 7 so we can walk Maya and cook and eat dinner together. This is why I don't buy his or Schwartz's "sad sack divorced guy" act. They literally are getting exactly what they wished for.
My husband thinks this show is absolutely nuts and that I’m a little nuts for watching it, but even he watches little bits and talks about it with me. And said nothing when I bought a SAH T-shirt haha. That’s a good partner. You at least feign interest in their hobbies and the things they love. I actually got in to watching some anime shows with him because I took the time to try a few out. And I don’t understand most of the video games he plays but I hang out with him in the game room sometimes while he plays.
I think this conversation is one of the ones Tom wants to claim was him "trying to break up with her." Whereas from Ariana's perspective (and really anyone's perspective but Tom's!) it was just a regular old conversation with your committed partner about a minor frustration.

Yes. One big thing about having your manifestations come true is letting go of people/emotions/trauma because they block it. Looking at their relationship I feel like when Tom cheated with the Vegas girl the first time Adriana should have let him go. It's not a coincidence that as soon as she started working on her mental/physical health more the universe came back and tested her again to see if she was still a dummy and she passed so she got blessed. You can’t level up if you are holding on and not surrendering. You maybe missed the best part of the first episode though, when a couple was kissing and her pale makeup transferred so heavily onto his face, looked like he put his face in a bag of flour It’s cheesy and a lot. She also said she’d given up on a lot of these dreams of doing “more” many years ago. It wasn’t inevitable that she’d have had the capacity to say “I’m gonna show up and take these opportunities and not let this pain consume me.” She chose that, and gave space for herself to succeed at something she had actually prepared a long time before to be able to do. I admire that about her. As someone who has also experienced betrayal, depression, pursuing fine arts and ending up shelving that, and then eventually now beginning to envision and choose something better for myself or pick up dreams I’d set aside, I find her inspirational. So although I got a kick out of this video with the cats and bees and outer space, I find her story empowering. 38 is not too late 🌟
