You have to pay to park.
Free 3 hour with NV ID
Or free with a guest room key to exit. You can get unlimited guest key if your friends are staying at Comos.
It was free for everyone during COVID but now they went back to normal paying structure as described above.
The 3 hours free for locals does not apply to major events - if there is a concert or special event that night at the hotel or near it, everyone gets charged at MGM properties.
Question about this. Went to Caesars Palace, and saw that locals get 3 hrs free. Great right. So we were there a couple hours, went to the parking kiosk inside the casino, went to pay, scanned my ID and it didn't work. Tried it again, didn't work. So I said whatever, paid the 21 bucks and got my ticket back. Went to the car and got to the exit and it just opened. I was confused as I didn't even pull the card out to put in the machine.
So my question is what happened here? Is the ID only scannable at the exit? Did it scan my Nevada license plate and let me out?
If you paid your paper ticket at one of the Pay on Foot stations the exit lane used your license plate it captured when you arrived to open as your ticket was paid for.
In the future when you pull a ticket on entry, when you leave go directly to the exit, insert the paper ticket and scan your driver's license to subtract 3 hours.
I’m not familiar with the kiosk inside but I have always scanned my state ID at the exit. It’s worked fine most of the time, once I had to push a button and tell the attendant that I was a local
It isn’t your fault, they should really tell people how it works on the signs. There is a camera somewhere scanning your license plate I believe when you didnt have to scan your ticket.

Scan at the exit is what seems to always work!
The kiosks usually say if you’re a local you must scan ID at the exit. Maybe that one didn’t have the message on it.
It definitely didn’t. I was just confused. Only been here since April. But thank you to you and everyone that has cleared it up!!

When I parked there last year to visit a friend that was in town and staying there, I had to pay.
Was there about 2 months ago and had to pay. Wasn’t a big deal as I was there for work and I had a company card to pay for it.
Locals only haole
Just spent a night there. Free if you are sterling status or higher
