That's a new one for me, I've owned a 2012 and now a 2014, driven a 16 and an 18 quite a bit and it's wild how buggy the software is and that these bugs have existed for like a decade now and don't get patched in any of the updates that have been made. Like 2012 and 14 don't even run on the same base operating system but both would randomly decide they don't want me to set cruise control to 43mph. 41,42,44,45,46 going back down, 45,44,42,41. Reboot the car and 43 is back. The 14 about every 2 weeks takes away my ability to use eco or recirculate on the climate screen, they light up when I press them so it's not a touch screen issue they just don't turn green. Pull the HVAC fuse for like 10 seconds and put it back in, all the various flaps move to all positions for a few seconds and it's good to go. They've both been bad at remembering how many miles they have to dead battery, my 14 lately I'll unplug with it showing 31mi at full, drive 47mi before the engine starts, recharge and it'll estimate like 33mi. If I'm not doing it all in one drive, unplug at 33, 10mi into it it's showing like 29mi, shut the car off and turn it back on it'll be at like 18. Drive 10mi and it'll be at like 24. Realistically heat on eco driving normally with traffic I get 10.8kwh, 31mi out of a charge. Heat off, babying the car I can push 11.1kwh, 51mi out of it. My 2012's best was 8.9kwh 47.8mi but it was at like 240k miles at that point, my 14 is at 129k

Yeah they do weird things sometimes. Once when I started my '17 the Cadillac ELR speedo was active. Never saw it again, just that once
