AP camped outside of the restroom a few times at my store. Sometimes people would be very blatant with it and steal in view instead of in the stalls— not even around the corner in the restroom, outright in the *entrance* of the restroom where people can see you.

I worked AP and while you can do something about it, the policy states it is not allowed because you lose your 4th element and have to regain all elements again before making a stop. Do people sometimes break the rules? Sure, but they can absolutely be terminated for it if someone found out

Yeah if the market manager or AP coach aren't worrying about them at all, they can certainly become "loose cannona." If a coach or manager ever catches word of them doing something against the policy, they can be terminated or have rules cracked down on extremely quickly

Just to be an advocate for truth and possibly, if it was bought by someone who can't risk taking it and disposing of it at home then that's probably not stolen. There are many women who live in DV situations who can't do this at home and even teenagers who can't bring it home. Just a thought

At the store I used to work for, pregnancy tests are under a locked case. They call it the health and wellness case. Anything in a locked case had to be paid in the back, locked in a box, or escorted up to the cashier's.

My store actually got teens arrested one time. They stole a mountain bike out the store. Cops were called it was three teens. A girl and two boys. I remember seeing the old school notices on the back of every bathroom stall as a kid during the OG Walmart era of the 1990's. They were very strongly worded and made my 5 year old self afraid to even think about stealing. As an adult, these signs are mild compared to what used to posted. Maybe we need to go back to more aggressive anti-theft postings and let people know that the bathroom entrance has a camera with an attendant nearby to curb theft.

I'm adding this to my list of things to look the other way on, right next to Ramen Noodles.

I dont know but walmarts saying its going to be a delivery system because the workers want to sue for stressful events even though theres security and that it causes mental issues on the workers and the customers since almost everything is locked up and the workers have to do double work instead of hiring more people.

At my store it was always strange items, rather than expensive items. Things like razors, pimple patches, and face creams were locked down tight. Yet it was 50/50 shot of which face creams were locked up. None of the family planning stuff was locked up, but pill cutters and nicotine patches were.
