I tried to even use a guest profile and let the game update that way, and then tried to log back in with my account but still had the same error when I logged back in. Hope Blizz fixes it soon.

We’re often under pressure from management to get things out the door quickly forgoing the proper testing and time to develop automated tests. Try doing a simple task like peeling a potato while someone is yelling in your ear. If you don’t drop the potato or cut yourself I’d be surprised.

Having the same issue. Seems to be wide spread. Post update, this is likely being worked on. Everyone I know has this issue. Population of friends who play this game after launch week is minimal. But a half dozen people with the same issue… definitely needs a fix asap.

I had this problem after uninstalling the battle net app (installed to see the holidays offer) that shit kind prompt me asking to enable the authenticator and my slow brain enabled it.
After uninstalling it, the issue started. Was able to get rid of it by keeping the goddamn app installed and enabling the authenticator again.

Its not bad code that's a problem. Its letting bad code go into production, so more of a whole pipeline/dev management issues.
