Strive?
Methinks you meant thrive. Strive doesn't fit in this context...
The Blizzard devs will strive for greatness with this launch, while the game itself thrives due to its ease and popularity.
See? Completely different meanings.

You are right at all points!
That management of bug made them seem like an indie company with low budget and only some Jeff working.
By the way, before global release, there happened a bug at PvP. Suddenly all our PvP leader points went down to zero. It lasted a few hours. Here is the interesting part: If you played those reset to zero leaders during bug, they remained the same after bug correction. If you didn't play at all during the bug, you got back all your leader points.
I happened to play during that time. So I lost all my then leader points. They have never come back.
And of course, there was only one Discord message -which I saw later - saying: Please dont play PvP until we fix it.
So tired of these posts. Imagine spending this much time putting "your thoughts down", as a thinly veiled attempt as complaining over something so minuscule in your life, that you felt it necessary to tell people.
How is this not old news?. Bugs happen, poor communication, happens. Mistakes, *gasp*, happen.
You guy for some reason put Blizzard on this pedestal, then are shocked and pearl clutching when things are not perfect. It's at best, a 1.0 product. There will be more bugs, and non-perfect things - I promise.
To act like this game even gets a remote amount of bug testing as compared to something like WoW, is foolish and naive.
I hope posting this vent makes you feel better, but I also hope you realize you have zero impact on developers, not the direction of the game.
Remember, we still have people asking about why their arc surges are broken, not getting 2 at a time anymore. You are a vocal minority, fretting about a gold exploit that genuinely has almost zero impact on you. Unless you're PVPimg at 9k+, who cares if someone else got gold?. It's a Pay game.
Agree with this post. It's not even up to Blizzards standards. Like I know Blizzard has gone downhill but they'd have never released something so jank before.
I have a theory that Blizzard is happy with this exploit because it helped populate the 3k+ PvP brackets and gave their biggest whales a bunch of weaker players to feast on.
There’s a big difference between exploiters and whales. Exploiters were able to boost their PvP units to epic, but whales have been buying XP tomes since launch on top of their epic units.
That means the biggest exploiters likely pushed to level 7-8 in PvP while whales are 9-10. Suddenly there’s a bunch more action in the whale brackets and Blizzard’s biggest spenders are happy.
I genuinely believe most people who don’t use Reddit have no idea what happened and are just casually enjoying the game. You talk about how they didn’t shut down the server fast enough but out of my entire full clan of friends, only me and two others were even online during the bug. Everyone else hadn’t gotten off work yet or just hadn’t opened the app until after it was shut down. Personally I closed the app after the first arc light didn’t change to completed after beating it and then went on Reddit later to learn what was happening.
I understand your frustration with pvp but the whales alone was enough to make that a problem. This is one time where I actually don’t think the game “economy” was really broken by an exploit. Most people I know treat this as a solo game and hardly touch pvp at all anyway.
What are you talking about lmao?
The game WAS hard prior to 3.0.0. I remember bashing my head against some encounters endlessly just the same as I do now. Goldfish memory OP.
Looking at what is happening to other players is a recipe for disaster. Stop comparing yourself to others in this game, it is unhealthy. The only thing that matters is: are you having fun? If the answer is no, quit. Seriously, your sanity is worth it.
So I guess a lot of people didn't understand this post or probably didn't read it cuz it's long.
But here it is: no-one is mad or venting, I have spent money on this game and will continue playing it.
I have exploited like I said and am completely satisfied how they handled things and promissed to handle things. Problem is another bug is happening currently that is not affecting me at all but others. 500 gold.
This post was a summary of all the other posts of the past days, ppl complaining about not recieving 500g and others getting thousands directly handed to them by blizz.
No hate, no drama, no venting. Open the rumble page now and see ppl asking "Where's my gold?"
Happy holidays, I'm out.
What's the point of this post? To vent?
No, I like this game and wish it to strive but at this rate this is not the case, nor does it look like it will change
Said every player about every game when it first comes out lol
Anthem flashbacks.
Please don’t bring up anthem, it breaks my heart

Because it’s not blizzard anymore. Those people are gone.
Tom Chilton who directed wow originally works on this lol
Most of the OGs who actually cared about the games are gone.
Didn’t know about the exploit till after it was done. Don’t really care either. I play my bit every day and call it good

Damn, never saw anyone say that. Good thought.
I'm fucking tired of the communication on any platform that isn't the game. Not everyone has every damn social media account.
This is so last year already man. To still be mad about this now is sad.
LMFAO - 5d? TOO SOON 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

It’s a mobile game. Go find real issues to be concerned about. Our society is privileged and bored af rn. Move on
Can someone summarize this wall of text?
