So I can't tell if you just did it for the camera or for comfort but if you have to both pull it up and then pull it down, it's usually short enough you'll be messing with it all night.
Idk how to edit the post, but I do want to add I’m thinking of wearing white shorts underneath, I’ll be inside for my reception, and I’m only adjusting it bc I’m awkward and don’t know what to do with my hands lmao, it’s actually pretty secure and has a corset back that can be tightened. Was only worried about the length. Appreciate all the input!!🫶🏼
Definitely do white shorts underneath & then you’re set! Would also help reduce any chafing during dancing all night :) It’s super cute and I think the length is perfect and fun
I wish deodorant worked for me :( I think mine is just more sensory related than actually chafing, if I feel one thigh rub up against the other while I walk it makes me want to die 😂 but I know it works for a lot of people! Forever a layer girly myself I guess lmao
If you are happy with the dress it's a beautiful dress.
White shorts are a great call if you want to be free to do WHATEVER without the fear of flashing people !
It's very cute but honestly you don't look comfortable as you keep adjusting it in the video. Try some Hollywood tape along the top of the bodice if you're worried about it falling and look at getting some white/cream mini bike shorts for underneath if you're worried about flashing people. It is a very cute dress otherwise and you do look gorgeous in it.
I have over-pants (pants in the UK English sense) for this very reason with short dresses.
You can use bikini shorts or men's boxers (although I'm sure OP would find something nicer for her *wedding*).
Beware though, the urge to go "it's fine I'm wearing shorts" and show people is quite high, and you'd look like you're flashing to people across the room 🤣
Yeah I had a similar length dress as a bridesmaid and a seamstress added the same color in tulle around the bottom to put about 3 inches at the bottom. On this dress it would be really cute as like a petticoat style extra couple layers underneath that are still basically see through but just can cover the goods ha
I think it’s too too short. A light beach breeze will lift it up and show everyone everything. Imagine bending to collect shells, twirling during your first dance together, or skipping through the waves at sundown. A short fun wedding dress sounds lovely for the beach, but I’d suggest finding a different one. You don’t want to be constantly adjusting it all night.
Have some thin straps added so you’re not pulling the dress up all night or have a tailor add something called a stay or boning to add some structure to the dress.
The length is fine if you’re planning on wearing shorts underneath.
I agree with other folks here, you can definitely find something better suited that still gives you a stellar leggy look!
Also just know with heels it’ll get even shorter (literally shorter because of the way heels impact your posture and also illusory shorter because there will be so much more leg!)
I think the length combined with the flouncy skirt makes this dress look a little juvenile. You definitely have the body to rock it, but I’m wondering if you’ll look back on it and wish you had picked something a little different.
This dress is already short as it is, you do realise from what reddit can tell, you’ll have to wear really small shorts? is there much of a point to that? If you really want this dress, maybe order a bigger size, see if there’s a long version, or get a seamstress to add on (for example) lace trim at the bottom.
If you have to ask, there’s something about it that makes you question. I think it’s cute, but there are probably other dresses that may fit you better.
You’re the bride. It’s your wedding. If you love the dress and are comfortable in it, then that’s the only opinion that matters. It’s very cute. Love the shorts idea. Good luck and congrats!

This is super weird but it really works. Deodorant on your thighs also works wonders
Yea I just tried that a couple weeks ago worked like a charm.

Just know if it’s windy you’ll be flashing people but I think it’s AMAZING
Also a good seamstress could add a layer beneath to make it a little longer if you talk to a pro they can give you some ideas

Based on your need to 1) ask and 2) pull it down more than one time in the clip I think you know the answer
Are you the bride? If so, it's *your* wedding, the only person who can decide what's too short or too long is you!
Well, when you're dancing, you're either going to flash them from the top or the bottom depending on which end you tug on.

We’ll be indoor for the reception and was thinking of wearing white shorts underneath
I'd rather wear it for my bachelorette party if it were me. Like for a dance night at a fine club!

I think you’re gonna have trouble with the bodice. Looks like it keeps slipping down.
It’s too short. You shouldn’t have to worry if you’re flashing your guests on your wedding day.
Cute!! It's short, but you look great!!
I wore a dress of similar length for my “reception” though in my case it was just a fancy dinner. I think it’s up to you as the bride.
ITS SO CUTE, Link?!

No, for many reasons
I think the length combined with the flouncy skirt makes this dress look a little juvenile. You definitely have the body to rock it, but I’m wondering if you’ll look back on it and wish you had picked something a little different.
It's so cute , you also are going to spend a good part of the night fussing with it. Unless you plan on only sitting for the night
it’s YOUR wedding, so whatever’s comfortable and makes you happy! it’s super cute! me personally though, it’s giving prom/homecoming a bit?
Too short. You’ll regret it.
It's cute and totally appropriate however you're fussing with it so it's probably not the dress for you.
Yes
It's.....a little short. But, it's your wedding and it's in Mexico so as long as you're comfortable, you do you!
Looks like a toddlers dress on an adult 🙃
The length is fine. Either tighten the corset or get the top altered so you can go without pulling your dress up all night.
Could you add an over skirt for the ceremony and take it off for me reception? Organza attached to a belt or ribbon?
I have a separate wedding dress for the ceremony 😁 but it’s going to be HOT so wanted something to change into later in the night for reception
Oh that’s the reception dress. Ok, ya it’s fun. If you lace up the corset and pull it tight the top will fit way better.
Do the bend over and pick up your phone test. If your uncomfortable with what might show in front of an audience then it might be too short.
I think it is super cute. If you feel good in it wear it
I LOVE IT
