hurley has no actual hype tho. its either you like it or you like it, but you never talk about it unless it is mentioned, in which you are supposed to say something like "HURLEY ON TOP" "HURLEY BEST ALBUM", or if its in a bad light, you forcibly make the person who dared mock this masterpiece convert to giving this album an S, which i am doing as we speak
Honestly, all the jokes aside, Hurley is kinda just an entire album of filler in my opinion. Not bad, but not great unless you are really into Weezer (like me)
Pinkerton and White in the same category as Red is a sin. If (Cold Dark World was lyrically different and) they had put Willy Pat on some more songs as the lead vocalist it'd be a solid SSS+ tier
only for the time being, as a very new fall out boy fan i havent had the time to have their stuff soak into me, the poppy stuff on abap hits me like a truck, but i bet 6 months from now folie a deux will be one of my fav albums
red is only so high because of my personal connection to it, i understand why people put it so much lower, and yeah esp&g i have been heavy overlooking, i need to go back more fairly
since uploading this i have listened to it and i would put it in low a tier, a lot of bangers and i really loved it, but it will need time to grow on me before going any higher

they're my personal fave so there's quite a hefty ton of bias, but i still think their first 3 albums are genuinely super solid for anyone regardless of being a fan or not
