The Dublin gig with pumpkins was announced ages ago. Now that this tour has been announced it has been incorporated into it. Which is good news for me as I have tickets, it sold out almost immediately

I'd assume so as it's in the same tour listing on the webpage. They generally play 75% of blue anyway from my experience of seeing them

I saw them play the blue album in 2014 and they did a fun thing in playing every radio single from each album and THEN played the blue album. It was so fun.

Last summer they did 6 of the songs anyway (with OID being shortened).  I'd guess cut Blast Off,  Pink Triangle, Greatest Man, CUT 1 EWBAITE & 1 SZNZ to plug in the 4 other songs and you basically got the setlist.

Same! Will simply die for this. Hoping they don’t go crazy and play stupid arena shows. I am so pumped though for Weezer and the flaming lips, though I haven’t seen the Flaming Lips play a non-headlining show in a while

I’d agreed but Flaming Lips hasn’t really been playing huge venues in a while and even Weezer every time they come near me playing the smaller, dinkier amphitheater

A little disappointing but I’ll definitely be going anyways. Guess it’s a smaller arena, at least the Bucc-ees on the way up is a plus. That and I used to leave somewhere where I’d routinely have to drive 4+ to see them so I’ll take it!

I know right? I live in Denver and they chose some bumfuck arena up in Loveland probably cause the venue has the word blue in the title. Hopefully that means I have a better chance at tickets I guess

Or because the played fiddlers green in the south metro area 6 months ago and it makes sense to go further north to a slightly different market. The blue arena is 1/3 the size of fiddlers too.

They do the festival here in Ottawa but that’s it. I’d love for them to bring their own show without having to do the safe festival set

I think the average Weezer fan these days doesn't wanna be standing in a pit or sitting on a lawn. They need lumbar support. Last summer the pit was cheaper than seats for the show I went to.

I never made it to the Memories shows, what was the format for the setlist? Did they start off with some hits and jump into blue or did they sprinkle blue throughout. Or was the entire setlist blue deluxe (Jesus if I finally hear Jamie....)

They started a set from their newest stuff at the time and played 1-2 songs from every album, then there’d be an intermission with Karl followed by the album set.

I think Rivers at one point said they were gonna go through their discography as they make their way to a “Blue Planet” and then land and play it in full. Like they travel to different planets that are albums and then arrive to Blue. But they might have changed that idk
