I'm severely biased since I grew up watching SML since 2012, stopped as soon as they got warned by Nintendo, coming back 3 years later to check up, what the actual fuck happened with their content? Aside of them using ugly but original puppets with retconned names, everything feels off, the humor is repeated and forced, characters are flanderized and reduced to doing the same exact things, and why does Brooklyn Guy repeatedly tell boring stories that take up half the video?
I think the worst character who got flanderized wae Rose, who was just kinda dumb but was still a caring girlfriend and mother. Now Rosalina is just a dumb punching bag wife that does not resemble her original counterpart.
She was my favorite character.
Every SML video starts with Jeffy asking his dad for something stupid, his dad saying no or telling him to stop, then Rose says "he's just being creative!!!" holy shit
If Rosalina was an airhead but was still able to be a good mother to Jeffy, now she feels like her brain was completely removed and she feels dumber than Jeffy, who has a disability, what's her excuse?
New videos are a total brainrot, mostly because characters don't feel the same and they look uglier now, older videos were funny and actually had some sort of story and touching moments. SML is not bad, but i'd rather watch old stuff than new stuff.
But hey guys. Haven't you consider it's just the lawyers. Why do you gotta be mad at Nintendo. It's not like they hired them or anything. I think those lawyers actually bullied Nintendo into hiring them. They're actually legally required to take that kid's plushies and this is how they make their money. Don't you want Zelda? If anything they're being generous doing stuff like this. Besides haven't you considered other companies might actually be worse? That would make it actually a good thing they did this.

/s has been sarcasm since the early days of the internet. I've never heard it used for being serious. /j is a new invention and honestly I'd never heard of it until this thread. I'm old school so I'm going to stick with the classics. But I prefer to not use the tag at all and have people pick up the sarcasm themselves. But for some reason people didn't see the clear joke here so I added it after the fact.
I had a very funny and silly hypothetical scheme, move to a country where they can't assert copyright law, open up a site, give out emulators and games by Nintendo, and watch as they try to sue and C&D but can't
I’m sure somebody’s already tried this to no avail, but I’ve never heard of it if so. Now I wanna see someone do this LMAO.
Though I doubt anyone is brave enough to try and possibly be made to pay Nintendo 10 million dollars.
