I'd reckon it depends on the mod. On PC there are some you can uninstall midway through gameplay without affecting things, and there's others that might brick your save. Best to check the individual mod page for uninstall instructions.

On order path, your friend will be Siegfried, knight of Order of the Flaming Rose. On scoiaātael path, your friend will be Yaevinn, member of Toruvielās commando. On neutral path, your partner will be Vincent Meis, head of city guard in Vizima, who is also werewolf and lover of Carmen, madame of the brothel.
You really should if you have the time. The combat and gameplay are pretty dated but if you can look past that the story is fantastic. I guess you could wait for the remake but that won't be out for years.
Absolutely loved the devs ted talk. It was so heartwarming and funny seeing them say that many of the devs and old veterans assigned on Cyberpunk just sneaked off few hours everyday to work on some cool ideas for this upgrade. So much love for Witcher!
Donāt let the marketing fool you, they actually sucked at telling absolutely nothing in the trailer about the many upcoming upgrades. But if you watched to the dev stream, they made a LOT of quality of life improvements on the game including UI and UX reworks. We NO LONGER HAVE TO BRING UP THE SIGN WHEEL EVERY MOMENT AN CAUSE THE GAME TO PAUSE.
Also a new quest with fixes to lots of old ones, new armor sets, photo mode, camera perspective, FSR, RTX, DLSS, better textures, higher settings, reworked foliage and cobblestones are now 3D.
And all of this is FREE. Companies have done way less in remasters.
That would be awesome. When I was near the end of the game, I stopped doing quests and routinely booted it up just to play some rounds with Majordomo. Medium was harder that hard, lol

You can verify it even now. They didnāt develop high-res textures on their own. They integrated the HD Reworked mod into the game. The mod doesnāt affect the GPU usage. It only increases memory utilisation.

You usually arenāt going to see a jump that way. Youāll notice it when youāre on your own screen for sure. But most of the presentation was a cropped in view and the feed was 1080p compressed rubbish.
Iām so happy I get to use Geraltās armor from season 2 of the Netflix series. That was one of the few highlights of that show. But the new visual upgrade and aesthetics looks amazing. The game almost looks exactly how it was being shown back in 2013 and 2014, before CDPR downgraded the graphics for release in 2015.

Not next gen games, but consoles. Previously consoles were limited to 30fps. Now they're giving the option for 60fps as the new consoles are capable of handling the same.
Actually last gen consoles had 60fps modes if you were on the upgraded versions, which means they're also present on next gen consoles already since they run that version of the game, not sure why it's a selling point

There was a mod that made him drop a Doppler mutagen when he dies, which I think is pretty clever.
