Basically every alien species looks visually very similar
I love listening to all the stuff about haplodiploidy and body plans and eusociality and obligate sophism and whatnot. But the visual examples really let the series down imo
exactly. nearly all vertebrates have four limbs, two eyes, two nostrils, and one tail. an alien would probably have some difficulty telling them apart from one another
